Not everyone is paying someone for their pool boosts. Some of us do it ourselves man. This is gonna screw it for us.

People are setting up cross server pooling. Consider it guys. Our server bracket leader talked to multiple bracket leaders from dozens of servers. we’re waiting to pair the right schedule

Did we play the same game? Aside from the fact that gen 1 had other ways to boost their weekly honor (hello AV) the deleting of chars after getting 15 hks has been going on since forever.

This sort of cheating was abused and reported WEEK ONE of phase 2 and you waited till October 2020 to do something about it.

At least compensate for this absolute joke of a hotfix with something like an increased base number of slots in each bracket.

That’s smart. Just open up the brackets than. Since you wanna ruin something they helps people but do nothing about how bad the ah is in price hikes, the bot farmers taking all the herbs and what not, do NOTHING about them, but hurt the one thing that helped pvpers since you IGNORED them and did notning. I just don’t know. Since u decided to made a change we didn’t ask for you need to put something in its place and stop being irresponsible. For Christ’s, and anything holy, and their sakes, you need to simply open up more spots without us having to do this. Idiots. Just open them.

I’m one of the players who managed to achieve R14 half a year ago before this fix. I got a friend who’s on his last week and this fix comes out so his R14 goal is crushed unless he can somehow play 24/7 and hope for the best. I’m pretty sure many other players are going through the same thing.
When I was grinding my R14 it was still tough without the fix but at least it was still somehow humanly possible. I can’t imagine it now where it goes back to square one.
It doesn’t affect me now but I feel the pain for thousands of others. Honestly if you were to implement this fix you should of done it the month this whole padding thing was happening. Why would you do it 10 months later when everyone has already adapted to it and also when the R14 gear is pretty much out of date already?? I mean naxx is comin out in a few weeks.
There are like so many more important things you can fix like multi boxing, flying farmers on top of ZG etc but no you decide to try fix something that was actually allowing people to achieve what they want from pvp in a more healthy manner. Lol.
You guys are so out of touch with the player base just like the time when you guys decided to remove layering (According to statistic analysis) and creating 6 hour + queues for players.
But yeah they don’t really read players comment anyways.

how can you compare people actually playing the game on single characters or alt ,to creating and deleting characters,people didnt know deleting worked in MARCH ,and when I say people,its all the big populated realms and doing huge pool party like incendius etc ,people started cross server pool party boost but it was creating 1-2 spots maybe not a lot ,here people were legit creating 25-30 spots everyweek,its impossible to have ranked or seen what was going on at the start and now and not see the huge difference
Come on Blizzard, really? At least add guaranteed br14 slots to servers.

Im not even sure Arcanite Reaper can support a br13 slot without pool party. Activision Blizzard is not only tone deaf as usual but found another way to screw over dead servers.

I knew this was going to be bad, but i didn’t expect it to be this bad. I was trying to keep an open mind. It looks as if 66% of the legit player base has seen this post and just straight up stopped pvping. If your not pulling 100k a day you shouldn’t even try. Problem is that’s what is going on and it just makes the problem worse. The level of disappointment and frustration i have with Blizzard and its choices and as a company as a whole is ridiculous . I feel that this is such a bad move that your only doing it and trying to make WoW the worst game you could possibly so your past few years of failures you call games look better by comparison. Blizzard has proven it cant make good games anymore and is in denial then classic explodes cause people loved what it use to be and they have to go and ruin it over and over cause retail isn’t bad enough. The subs do the talking and you still won’t listen. Guess people that work at blizzard are as unhappy as the research says and they all just want to be out of jobs. Stop hiring people that just kick the can of issues down the road and leave for better companies. Bring back the passion and actually listen to the community like you once did, stop forcing your garbage down peoples throats and telling them they like it.

You should have given at least a month notice so people could determine if they could reach their goal before you screw them over. You tell people this the day after they had already been ranking all day prior for 12+ hours.

This is the worst possible change you could make without accompanying it with other changes that would make the game more rewarding for PvP’ers. Please re-think this change and table it for now until you combine it with something else that improves the game. There isn’t a single active PvP’er that is going to be happy about this. These are the paper cut changes that drive players away and will kill your game. Please please please rethink applying this.

I just love how the experience of the original wow has been tarnished by thousands of players by overpriced items because of bots and gold sellers. Than trying to go farm materials for your guild to raid is much harder because there are people who are farming, on top of gold sellers farming, on top of people who can’t afford inflated prices so they have no choice but to go out and struggle finding what they need, on top of people who are trying to level up their own professions, to afford their characters leveling up, making it harder for absolutely everybody else, while the same guy on my realm has 7 pairs of edge masters in the AH. That’s all okay. Farming for something like a black lotus is impossible and you’ve done nothing. People ask for a premade change in pvping and you’ve done nothing. We finally find a way to make it through even though we have to stiff it out for other premades and you’ve done nothing. We find something that made it possible and you try and claim you’re battling exploitative behavior. The amount of hours I sacrificed, the last few months I dedicated. I don’t think you have a clue what you did. You proved it that you couldn’t handle this game. The people who created it are ahead of their time and it’s no Wonder they aren’t apart of blizzard anymore. You Inherited a priceless gem created by incredible people and dumped all over it. You can’t even keep up with the care that is required to keep the game moving properly. Rules that we used to be afraid of breaking because of how well kept this game was, and how tight security was, are now danced all over. But Hey you know what? Let’s punish the players who stuck through it all right? Not the players helping rot your game from the inside so they can profit right In real life right? If you so much as caused blizzard to be suspicious of you Back when this game wasn’t ruined, it’s because you were DAM WELL DOING THE WRONG THING. When you opened a ticket, someone came to talk to you. If you so much as cursed at someone the wrong way you would get punished. People HAD to act mature. If you were too toxic you were gone. Every hot fix slowly takes away the enjoyment that these, as I said it before, that the CREATORS OF THIS PRICELESS GEM made, that you continuously dump on over and over. How much money did this fix cost? You could have took more time to figure something out that would help us pvpers since we had to do it ourselves but no you decided to spend it on a hot fix that hurts everyone. If you really don’t want classic wow to exist that bad, if you really don’t have what it takes to keep up with this incredible gem that you destroyed than hang it up. You gonna release TBC and ruin that too? And give that a bad name as well? Leave it alone. You don’t have what it takes. Release your dumpster fire SL, and finally break away from Activision already before you lose everything.

Well said my friend. Blizzard - Please don’t publish this hotfix to prod. undue this mess and leave this alone or adjust the bracket size appropriately to make the ranking progression equivalent to how it is now with all these extra characters. If this is being done as a backend cost saving fix, that is fine, just adjust the band sizes to go along with this to avoid punishing your players and remaining fans of this game.

I’ve just cancelled both accounts, and will never send another cent to Blizzard again. Instead of changing the system to be less toxic than the original, you’ve gone with the “hey guys, let’s make the worst system imaginable even worse”. On purpose. Congrats, the only ideas you have left are bad ideas. When Shadowlands tanks, and it will, at least the talented people will be able to get jobs down the street at Moonshot.

There’s going to be a lot more cancellations like the one above. Please revert the plan to push this change live. This hurts a whole spectrum of your players and benefits none.
