I am going to quit playing wow classic because of your stupid decision.
I will not play retail and I will stop my subscription from next month.
I will play some games until cyberpunk 2077 comes out. And yea this is what 5 of my other friends In my pvp are doing too.

I’m totally agreed with you man all my friend r13 on low realm pop will cancel their subs and stop playing because there is not enough players to create a BR1 spot ! They are killing the game by doing this well GL to everyone.

You still can boost the pool size, just keep characters ‘alive’ till reset

What are you attempting to accomplish?
Are you going to go back to all of the rank fourteens who used pool party (also known as the vast majority of them) Inter move their titles what about everybody else on the server who benefited from this? Somehow in true Blizzard fashion, you managed to attempt to fix an issue 8 months too late but also at the same time kill off your PvP community in classic swiftly and absolutely.
What I don’t think you suits understand is the vast majority of people who are now attempting to rank through your inundated, inept, poorly thought out archaic system are doing it for only one of two reasons at this. The first (I do not think you fully grasp this yet) is just to get the title for a potential TBC which you have not even graced us with the confirmation that it is even coming. That is right they are getting it for a title that they are going to only have for a week, and potentially use it one day in the future. The second and I know this is going to be very hard for you to believe but it is purely to do PvP with their friends. I have worked very hard to attempt to rebuild the PvP community on my server around ranking and even war games to a lesser extent. With the current phases, there is almost no reward to PvP ING as you can get almost all this gear replaced with relative ease even with pug groups.
There are so many things you could have done to improve the game to improve the retention of players. You could have made it a better experience for everybody before doing something like this. Why don’t you make world buffs disappear on zone in to any of the instances in the game? Why don’t you fix any of the 15 zones that can be flown through like Superman? You don’t fix those things because they are hard but you choose to fix the things that are easiest. Instead, you chose to destroy the hard work of phase 4/5 rankers by not letting them play by the same rules as everyone else for the last eight months.

It is percent based however if the calculation does not result in a whole number then it is rounded down to nearest whole or zero if under 1
On my small oceanic pve server the only way to get 15hks and be registered as part of the pool size is by doing BGs (outside of padding which they are reducing the effictiveness of by 90%)
We only have about 200 regular BG participants and because there is no world pvp there is no natural contribution from people ganking or contesting resources.
Top 0.3 percent of participants are awarded 12000+ RP required to pass Rank 13
0.3 percent of our 200 participants equals 0.6
That gets rounded down to 0
If we had 400 participants
0.3 percent of 400 equals 1.2
1 person can earn 12000+ RP to surpass rank 13

You need to rethink this blizzard. Of all the fixes that people asked for regarding PvP I promise this one wasn’t it. The fact that PvP caps Being lower still require me to play for OVER 8 hours a day of non stop pvping and that’s before this fix. It’ll now be 100% impossible now unless I find a premade group. That’s BULL. This is bad you need to hold a vote on this one and the think it. This was HELPING people. The amount of people who don’t queue anymore especially on alliance because they already don’t wanna get pug stomped is already wild. I know from first hand experience I play on multiple realms. The amount of friends and players who have quit because of premade pvpers is Already a bad thing. This right here is gonna hurt the loyal people yet again. My reason for playing this game will be taken away because everything is easy overridden by bots and toxic players which is why I have 60s on other accounts and realms. Listen to the ones who have the first hand experience. This is a bad move!! People who don’t PvP finally had hope. People who can only afford a subscription and not a transfer to a more pop realm are gonna suffer. The people who pug who finally had a chance after all this time who even CAME BACK TO THE GAME are getting it ripped away, by first the players and now by the actual devs. Another fix no one asked for. I take pride in getting 85k a day by myself and at this rate I can finally get to rank 14. The last of the pvpers are gonna disappear. Hold a vote. You gotta speak to us and communicate. Ask the players who are aware of the realms and who actually put the time in. This is getting out of control blizzard. This will be screwing a lot of people. Please. If you mess this up it’s gonna force me to have to premade and in content doing it on my own. There are groups who sell boosts players that can get 100k an hour yet you’re only gonna feed that problem even more. I’ll find a premade in my realm but there are people who aren’t willing to go that far. Even though I can still reach cap there are people who have more responsibilities than I do, who don’t have the hours they need to even have a CHANCE to get to EVEN rank 10. The fact I have to try my absolute hardest and give this game most of my days to even stand a chance, the fact that’s about to be taken away after the countless hours I spent with my guild who helped me get gear after finally finding a guild who cares about having fun and not GATE keeping tier gear, that’s all gonna be ruined; the amount of time I spent to reach the rank im at now, I’m really gonna be punished for this? After this fix, you’re leaving me no choice but to NEED to use premades in order to get through my journey? How many more aspects of this game are gonna be ruined by you guys. To think this is the thanks we get. This is unreal. What do you even take us for? What do you actually take us for? What is our time worth to you people? Do you actually think you did a good thing? Do you sincerely any the game to die out? Is it too much for you? Maybe the founding fathers of this game who no longer exist in the company need to come back and teach you something. You dont enforce any of your own rules that we used to be afraid to break back than. Hence the fly bots. People wouldn’t consider when so much as hacking without knowing well how tight blizzard security was. How I can open a ticket and speak to SOMEONE AND NOT GET REDIRECTED TO A MACHINE!! How they enforced and made sure weekly Tuesday fixes got taken seriously to iron out bugs these bots so they couldn’t be taken advantage of, not claim to do it every Tuesday but not do ANYTHING. Because they KNEW how important these things were. Because they knew how much possible exploits can be taken advantage of. The founders of this game are probably sick to their stomachs and it’s no wonder they’re no longer apart of blizzard. We want to enjoy this game but you’re not only allowing bots and people to make that harder, but you’re also making it harder as well. This is a big fat slap to the face To many people like myself and it seems like you don’t take our time serious at all. You’re a disgrace blizzard.

I play very casually these days and this change will basically destroy the main reason I keep playing Classic, as I cannot commit to 15h/day grinds to meaningfully progress past rank 11. Good job.
There is literally zero reason to hotfix this, as the inflated brackets benefit every single person on the server and have no negative effect on anyone, especially compared to the toxicity it will bring out now.

Either that or, you know, fix the system that heavily encourages extremely unhealthy behavior from thousands of people for months at a time. Even with padding the rank 14 grind takes an absurd amount of effort. On some realms it’s far beyond what is even possible for someone that happens to have a job. GG Blizzard.

You’re literally hurting all Classic PVPers by doing this. I’ve never seen a management team so out of touch with there player base before. Does your administration do any research before they actually enact any changes? Or do they just hope for the best and make a change.
This change leads me to believe the latter of the two. Which makes me very concerned for the rest of the business as a whole, a company riding the coat tails of an administration that has been absent for years, just waiting for the inevitable end of a terrible group of individuals who can’t manage there company out of a paper bag.
Hopefully Classic PVPers will get some form of compensation, but knowing how dethatched this Administration is from its player base, it’ll just continue to hurt the active player in a foolish attempt to try and combat botting.
How terribly sad. Rest in peace Blizzard, you truly know how to successfully cut your own throat. So hilariously sad.

To put it in short, it takes me up to 8 hours a day to get to 50k solo queuing, including meals in between, and outside life. To maintain keeping up with rank 11 and up and my realms current cap, I have to PvP for 12 hours to reach 85k doing solo queues, getting up to take care of other things and losing a lot of sleep. You have to be willing to give up a lot of your social time. Not just a little. It would probably be way less time if I weren’t seeing premade but I chose to deal with them because I’m geared with t2 and pre Bis PvP. every week I reach cap and make rank by a very short thread and that’s having alot of extra time on my hands. That’s all about to be ripped away. I have went from 27 days played time to 47 days in 2 months because of this grind. To say that this is HELPING people is an understatement by many many altitudes. I don’t know how much I can possibly put into words how stressed I am over this. How many years I’ve played this game and couldn’t wait for this release to do THIS VERY THING, to put the grind in and earn my rank and earn my gear I don’t care if I’m late, I can’t believe that my right to say I actually did it On my own, I was so certain I could taste it I was doing so well, to have this taken away is really wrong I can’t explain how upset and disappointed I am. How many people don’t even know this is coming. Is it a toaster that’s making these decisions? Every phase has been scuffed with lag, every time something is released the server can never handle the volume of players. You need to tell the people what they’re supposed to do next at this point. What is this gonna do to improve the game for the people who came back and spent money to have access to classic?

Oh they did research, but not the kind you want. They did money research, and learned that if they do this the people who want boosts will end up sucking it up and buying more accounts to do it. This is in no way any other thing than a money play.
