Forget Naxx gear, pvp gear is already beaten by pve gear that can be gotten by pugging for the most part.

spoken like a true ignorant. the pvp system in classic is based on brackets that are based on % of players with 15hks aka pool size. smaller pool size smaller amount of top bracket slots and in some cases NO top bracket slots meaning no ability to get r14 the highest

Unless you’re a warrior/rogue/mage/hunter PvP gear is somewhere in between BWL and AQ, and for the classes I mentioned it is about on par with AQ + some stam.

Can we get some bots to just inflate the pool by abusing game code or something? Just like they fly around the map and teleport to lotus, maybe they can trick the server into thinking there is a larger pool size.

I doesn’t affect you if you don’t pvp. There is no correlation between pool bloating and pve content. If you do pvp though this is a huge upset, it means you 1. cant rank anymore* 2. dont have the time to rank anymore 3. need to be even more sweaty.
If I told you that a part of the game that you enjoy is now behind a wall of unnecessary extra steps I bet you’d be a bit rustled when I then say “whats the deal bro lol”.
*since the pvp system depends on community you might be forced into a lower bracket by your guilds and players; no you can’t just play the game if you intend on staying on good terms with the rest of your community.

Well its official going to be happening soon. I don’t think that I have seen a swift revert before to suddenly change it back to how it was.People are going to have to put in more time and more work to get the ranks that they want.Sounds like some servers wont even have that chance though.

They didn’t roll back the 30 instances per day and that had a ton of negative reaction as well.

You are totally right in saying some servers won’t have a chance but it should really be extended to some players. If a mid-pop server doesn’t have the capacity for everyone someone will be benched and they probably won’t be happy.

30 dungeon per day limit would only stop some bots, nobody else. any mage or druid that said they ran 30 per day is just an outright liar, this effects everyone negatively. and theres 0 reason for it other than its an ‘exploit’ that they have allowed to exist since pvp came out.

there isnt 1 single dungeon farm that is anywhere close to as necessary and with no room for no error at the cost of weeks like there is in pvp. mages can still print gold and druids can still farm mcp and with the 5 dung / hour lockout its irrelevant the dungeon change. this screws players who pvp harder than anything ive ever seen

I’m not arguing that this doesn’t impact people negatively, inflating the brackets does make the honor system suck slightly less.
It’s still an exploit and that honor system is still awful regardless.
