Taking a giant steamy crap on pvp’rs was a big reason BFA turned into a ghost town. Players are sick of getting treated like trash. They ignore player feedback and it seems like some changes are made in spite of player feedback for a negative response.
So more in line with actual vanilla ranking in classic with mega servers. Got it.

Since it was built off their original coding layers must have also been in vanilla. Bring um back boys. Bottom line is this is a bastardized version of vanilla and there have been dozens of bugs that have slipped through that they have been patching out over the last year. Im inclined to believe this is one of them until I see proof showing otherwise, blizzard are the ones with the source code. If they say its a bug im taking their word.
Does anyone at Blizzard even play WoW anymore? Are they this far out of touch with their own player base? I knew it was bad, but this is ridiculous. I’m assuming that total subscription numbers are around or under original Vanilla numbers (because let’s be honest, that’s a fair assumption). Now let’s assume super generously that 3/4 of those accounts actually play WoW Classic. Even less of those PvP and add to the pool size for a server. So assuming that WoW Classic has less players than Vanilla, Blizzard thinks the ranking system will work better than it did way back then? How many levels of development did this have to go through? How many people looked at this idea and went, “Yeah, seems legit”. Why is it that this kind of gross incompetence is the standard?
And they wonder why they can’t hang onto sub’s lol. They have actual monkeys makings decisions at actiblizz
Imagine making mega servers, screwing the servers up even further by allowing layering exploits, making sure nobody knows how populated each faction is on either side, add cross realm BGs so you know the premade meta runs 24/7 and then get rid of one of the only mechanism to balance out the absolute horrendous meta of 24/7 bging.
Christ the incompetence displayed by these people.

Nope, they sure weren’t. And those were added to “enhance the experience” not to be as it was. I agree that they’ve destroyed what was Vanilla WoW and began catering to people who were doing it for the “feels” rather than authenticity, but I’ll still argue against changes that weren’t there. They wanted to showcase Vanilla as it was, they should stick to it imo. Revert things back to the actual Vanilla state so that players get that true experience. I played, it was dreadful in comparison to the QoL now, but that’s where the height of MMORPG was once. Keep Classic as it was in Vanilla, revert things back and stop gating the experience. Much of the scaling, gear, etc. is all very different based on the patch they’re working off of. Release it all, make it all as it was, and leave it alone imo.
Please blizzard reverse this change.

This is BY FAR one of the WORST DECISIONS YOU COULD MAKE BLIZ. You basically just killed pvp FOR THE MAJORITY of people since obtaining high ranks are now near impossible. Why even fix it this late? NO ONE was complaining about this.
