Hey guys i was making this post to ask, how do DK’s do against DH’s? i was thinking of doing 2v2’s and world pvp as well.
World PVP has so many factors outside of X class verse Y class.
Who has their CDS up?
Who got the jump on who?
Are there any world buffs involved?
Gear.
The type of terrain. Especially going into DF, DH will be escape masters.
Who is prepared with consumables / items?
And for 2v2, it’s all about comp. e.g. even if a DH is strong, if their only viable 2s partners are all trash, DH is also trash.
I can tell you that I’m more “afraid” of DHs than DKs. But DKs are more enjoyable to play in arena. In fact it’s the only class I’ve played seriously in arena.
DKs are kinda meh in rated PvP right now in general. You can make 'em work, but they don’t have many (if any) favorable matchups.
Blizzard’s got this weird meta going on where DKs are actually one of the most squishy classes because burst damage in general is so high. The only way you survive it is by having amazing defensive cooldowns… which DKs don’t really have. And their burst is honestly one of the weakest of any classes right now too, relatively speaking.

DKs are really good in 1v1 but that’s because they are carried by slappy hands.
Well, this is horrifically wrong.
DK handles magic/burst well and suffers into sustained physical + ms

Forgive me, I’m just going off my fairly limited shadowlands arena experience. Unh likes queuing into wizards and dislikes stuff like Fury and Hunters.
