Yes. Just skip the honor gear and go straight for the conquest gear.

thanks, i didn’t really enjoy the super grind that devs made us go through, if i wanted to do all that, i would have played on Classic servers, at least classic servers have accountability with people there and you can’t just be a random d!ck to other players

It’s not worse I don’t think. But it’s a different kind of frustrating. Like no tangible source for a good weapon until 1800 for some classes. Rep grinds are awful, but it’ll be early tbc so wpvp will keep it fresh and fun.
rating gating isnt a thing until s3
will that not be negated by it being launched in p2.4.3? or are they going to dial it back.
Either way, they’re expensive. playing arena with no good weapon was the source of my initial point. It’s not like you’ll cap in one week and grab weapon.
if it launches 2.4.3 i’ll be disgusted and disappointed
at least SH will be easy to get for novelty but would defeat the purpose, their excuse with classic was that 1.12 was the most complete dataset they had, and it trivialized the rest of the content
2.4.3 would mean no attunes, nerfed content, stagnant meta, etc. etc.

I do think attunes and rep farms are gonna soul drain some people. Myself for sure lmao. Already not looking forward to it.
the cynic in me concludes it’s possible 2.4.3 since it’s the least maintenance and least work for them

I personally will not be playing shadowlands. It isn’t worth it for me anymore. If i didn’t basically make a bet with myself to get r1 all throughout bfa, i would’ve quit after season 2.

Bloomsday often does this to set small challenges for himself. He always tries to have short and long term goals in WoW just like he does in real life. As he always says if you aren’t progressing you’re regressing.

That is honor gear and not conquest gear. Anyone that has ever done arenas before legion only wears honor gear for a hot minute until they replace it with conquest gear.
With how conquest gear starts out low item level and the weekly vault varying conquest point requirements, it is possible there isn’t even a conquest cap and you can just farm low item level conquest gear and skip honor gear completely.
Disclaimer: Blizz is pretty dumb for thinking 2 months of honor grinding is acceptable for garbage gear.

But, if im not mistaken, the top conquest gear will be worst than what u can get from PVE mythics, right?
Without a pvp stats, or any other stuff like that, PVP players that dont have time or just dont like PVE will get stuck ins 2k, or 2.2k maximum against other people that either like or have time enough to Raid Mythics, roll itens, re-roll itens, every day.
I dont know if that make sense, but thats my impression from all that i’ve read these past weeks.

I’m just a bfa rival so the system will benefit people like me. At 1600, my weekly vault will have heroic raid item level loot in it. At 1800 it will be even higher.
