PvP Pet Battle System - failing

I just spent two hours in a queue that “said” it was going to be six-minutes long. I left queue, because I didn’t see the point. Does anyone in General Discussion know how I can get 189 wins or 300+ games in?

I’m looking for people who have knowledge of the present queue system. The absolute best times to queue. I realize Battle Pet week is coming up on Nov 26th. And I will be queuing in the evenings and weekends. But I really think Blizzard messed up the PvP for Battle Pets…

EDIT: I understand they don’t want win-trading already.

I mean pet battles are an afterthought for blizz.

That’s a fair statement. However, they are making it impossible for me to get 250 wins in for the Stunted Direhorn, which as a pet collector is coveted.

the only time that people queue for pvp pet battles is when it is the weekly quest to win 5 pvp pet battles

other than that, you’ll probably spend a full month in queue without getting into a match.

Oh I forgot about that, entirely. It doesn’t fix the problem, but that helps.

Que system is bugged, and based on the technology of MoP. Running theory is that they don’t care enough to fix it (or aren’t smart enough).

The tldr is that you can only play against a select few opponents. The criteria for this is a mystery though; with some suggesting your opponents have to be from your realm’s battlegroup from back in the day, to others saying you can only play against people from your account’s OG realm.

What ever the case is though, you can que sync with GROUPS of people, and STILL sit in que for hours with the game REFUSING to find you a match.

Thank you for explaining all that. It still doesn’t sit right with me, but at least I have some explanation…
