I will always and forever be better than you at this game, whether I played Classic or not.
Another way to think about this is Blizz started Classic with 6 servers (?) Didnât expect the subs for 33 servers, so if they lose some, eh.
They put out content they already made to make money, Iâm sure they want to milk it all they can.
Considering the complaints iâll give you a big fat nope there.
Well itâs settled since youâre posting on someone whose achievements I canât see! I think Iâm better and you think youâre better! This has been fun lil guy!
Then they wouldâve added transfers a week ago for moneyâŚ
Which I already stated, they might think that would kill the game even worse, and therefore worse for them in the long run.
So, I donât claim to have any numbers for this or special insight, but there are a couple of indications that numbers are not currently the same as they were at their recent peeks:
- visibly not as many people in towns/out in the world; this is subjective, but I think I feel it.
- Lack of queue times when I log in
This raises a couple of questions as well:
- are the dwindling numbers typical of what we would expect to see 3 months after the release of new WoW content, such as a new expansion?
- are the subscriptions actually declining?
- is that reflected in both Classic and Retail?
And then, as you mention:
We may be having very different conversations in a couple of days/weeks/months.
It likely would be. Glad someone else finally sees this.
Because Iâm posting on a relevant character to the content. Shame you canât see my R8 Title
Wow you play a lot. So skillful!
We are the server of intellectual posting!
You donât go far by losses under the BG system; the only way to compete is winning. Honor kills are 95% meaningless to BG system PVP.
But its not in yet.
I was talking specifically about the PVP system when BGâs are out. Thatâs going to change quite a lot about PVP and for some reason the alliance donât understand that at all.
Explain it too them and theyâre still going on about honor kills⌠Does not work like that when HKâs are 25% DR and a BG win is 1100 honor for WSG.
Win fast and collect points move on to the next one as soon as possible so youâre gaining Contribution points faster than your rival local server teams (same faction).

Donât think anyone thought this would be the case.

I see many of both factions in towns/out in the world on my server. Ofc, this is server dependent⌠worse faction disparities will be worse. Lack of queue times could be holidays/content is stale until BGs are released.
are the dwindling numbers typical of what we would expect to see 3 months after the release of new WoW content, such as a new expansion?
Most likely.
are the subscriptions actually declining?
100%. This will happen no matter what.
is that reflected in both Classic and Retail?
Yes, for the same reasons. People play content for a month or two and get bored.
We may be having very different conversations in a couple of days/weeks/months.
Yes and no.
Maybe they get stomped so much that honor ranks are the least of their priorities.
But I donât have eyes or ears on their faction at 60 so I wouldnât know for sure what its like fighting for them atm.
Can you blame them for not enjoying the pvp they signed up for?
Yes, because if they wanted to sign up for something fair and balanced, they would have rolled on a PvE server, and queued BGs. World PvP is inherently unfair and unbalanced, and rarely is a contest of skill, whatever people say. It typically comes down to who has the numbers, and who has the benefit of surprise.
This isnât like queuing a BG and finding out that it is 15 to 10. This is like signing up for what you thought was a car race, when it was a demolition derby. Just because you didnât know what you signed up for doesnât mean you can ignore the consequences.
Kinda crappy really⌠Most of the healers alliance side donât have name plates turned on or something; you peel them and they just run away leaveing you to die.
Many of the DPS act as if theyâre not being attacked and just carry on like botsâŚ
Coordination is crap generally and when they do organize they donât have the same kind of zeal of PVP that the Horde do; as a result win then hearth back to Ironforge where they proceed to sit on mounts doing nothing while LFG / LFM ârend-jedâ / âarena-angerâ runs.
They seriously put 120% into PVE while on a PVP server then go out into the world in a PVE spec, get crushed and QQ about getting crushed while sporting PVE gear (example warriors wearing leather in PVP).
PVE, the alliance are amazing, but they donât understand PVP, they hyper min-max the hell out of PVE wanting to be the best most uber-leet-Epeen-flexor-sauce-raider, yet when it comes to PVP they figure what they got for Raid is gonna work out just fineâŚ
IDIOTSâŚ
How is any of this the Hordes fault?
