I wish I didn’t know the answer was ‘money’ … And knowing the answer doesn’t make it feel any less frustrating.
Arena PVP is struggling a bit. I watch my friends move on, frustrated and unheard. I try and play the game I love with a shrinking friend’s list and more and more players screaming into the abyss. I see tons of community posts from various sources fill the top of social media sites and go ignored. Or maybe worse, they get placated in a way that is borderline patronizing.
Dear World of Warcraft Devs. Can you please answer the tough PVP questions. Can you please stop ‘staying to the script’ and actually respond in a substantive way? We might be gamers, we not be un-subbing, but we do matter, and we are not dumb.
You want to know what players are begging for and willing to play PVP again for? I will give you a cheat code, because I can’t really articulate myself as well as some… About 3 months ago Mysticall made a video “Please Save PVP” … Go watch it. You want to save PVP, find some way of implementing that system and you will see growth in that part of the game in a very noticeable way.
I just wish you would talk to us. Really talk. Not under guidelines and not worried about saying too much … Just let us know you give a damn, because I promise you, that the vast majority of the PVP Arena community things you don’t care at all. They are leaving. My friends are leaving. They are tired of being disappointed in a game they spent countless hours and dollars enjoying. Odds of any Dev seeing this is about 2% I’d say… Odds of them responding to me in a meaningful way 0% …
