We can only hope that the community council will venture into the Battleground forum because there are so many post and topics that speaks volume about it, including many of the players who actually participates in these premades/q-syncers and those who are also leaders of them.
It’s likely they won’t though but one can hope.
WoW has never been and never will be PvP focused or balanced due to gear. When gear stats were removed people complained to no end because they actually had to have skill. If you want PvP play Overwatch…
I think the OP means a good dev. Preferably one that plays all specs to some extent.

The people in charge of PvP don’t care about it outside of what they are imagining is its esports value. They hate bgs and wish they would go away, because RBGs are impossible to broadcast. The devs who do the work have no special PvP experience, nor do the planners. They are convinced that changing PvP to be more like PvE will bring back those who have stopped doing it, back to the game or back to PvP for those who haven’t left altogether. Even when they see a clear failure, they refuse to rework something that is clearly the issue and instead leave it for a later expansion.
It’s a matter of experimenting on the playerbase and then continuing to stay the course just in case trying harder to do more of the same is going to get a different result.
WoW doesn’t have PvP it has PVG, Player Vs Gear. No actual PvP player from another game would even consider WoW a valid option to play.
PvP gear is extremely easy to get and anybody playing in the competitive rated modes is gonna have the same gear. At this point in the season even people that just do random BGs have the same gear as everyone else too.
Which is why people in conquest gear feel obliged to form premades to farm noobs, right?
Do you even play max level PvP now that you switched accounts to one that has the expansion, instead of posting on Murdercarpet, or no?
Most WoW “PvP” players don’t want real PvP or again would be playing OW, CS, Val, LoL, DOTA… I can keep going on. Even those who like gear have left to Fortnite and PUBG so no one player can be the most OP all the time. If WoW does not want to be a joke in PvP, stats need to go.

Blizz flipping the bird to a bunch of players (not just pvpers) is kinda why they losing subs like crazy.
You post the same nonsense you’ve posted on the million different druids you’ve posted on over the years, it’s not hard to figure out who you are.
I only solo queue, so not sure where you’re going with that one. Also, there aren’t too many badly geared alts running around right now, which you’d know if you actually PvPed.
I don’t post on alts, unlike some people with 10,000 druids that they switch and pretend to be new people on.

We know the game isn’t pvp focused. Doesn’t mean pvp should die, needs to have improvements.
Zero proof to this and if anything loosing the players that cost them the most in server hosting saves them money.
I was doing some bgs and i havent pvp in like 5 years, and this fire mage full healed like 3 times then ice blocked then healed again, then ice wall and ran away , lol ?
Apologies for responding but I think it would be good to do both to keep posts like this alive and active. Show that we won’t be silenced just because they threw some hastily compiled Class buffs and nerfs together. I’ve just organized this post PvP Issues Megathread- All Issues Organized, Community Council and Blizzard Aid Requested highlighting all the issues with PvP currently and would appreciate support from anyone passionate about getting PvP in this game back on track for the future.
I hope Riot’s MMO destroys WOW PVP. Love to see Riot run over Blizzard in every single game they make at this point Blizzard don’t deserve the sub they only get it because arena addict.
