PvP layer hacking

I have been ganked by alliance player on Jom Gabbar- when he appears to be losing the fight he phases out of layer even when there appears to be no other layers available on server (verified with addon only 1 active layer at the time).

Could just be taking a BG queue or accepting a summon.

I’ve run into quite a few people that abuse layering like this in PVP, it’s just the way things are these days. You can try reporting them for cheating because it’s an exploit, but there’s not much else you can do.

I plotted this for days. I ventured to Ironforge first thing in the morning to seek Donald Osgood, for only he had the ability to grant me the power to seemingly vanish in thin air. From there I rode to Gryth Thurden to begin my ~4.5 minute aerial journey to Western Plaguelands, for I knew it was crawling with baddies just waiting to grant me honor. Then… I waited… for approximately 17 minutes until it was nearly my time. As soon as I was called to battle I sought my prey - a seemingly weak undead priest on a poor person’s mount. A sickly gazelle. I had but 90 seconds to finish the kill, I knew I could do it. But alas! a 54 rogue appears to stave off my attack. Knowing defeat was imminent I accept my place among the Alliance ranks in the Basin of Arathi. Success. A clean escape.

Nova World Buffs?

The layer tracking has never worked right on that.

Riveting drama, chaps.
Always a good show when both sides show up to tango.

That’s it reported for cheating! Reeeee!

So today I learned that accepting a BG queue in the open world is also called PVP layer hacking. Hackermans strikes again.

Honestly I thought that was going to be a shadowmeld story, that’s also hacking.
