PvP is what attracted players to WoW

The majority of gamers play games for competition (PvP). The moment your games PvP is turned to poop or non-existent is when your game declines in active players and then eventually dies.

Every popular game is mainly a PvP focused game.

I think Blizz should focus on PvP over PvE or make a new MMO that is more focused around the PvP like back in the day.

Back in the day it was all PvP. PvE was just for gear to do better in PvP. Every1 knows this is true. WoW is a pvp game just like warcraft games… there is some pve but the real game was the PVP.

For you maybe, for me it was the opposite. The only reason I did any PvP at all was for the easy gear to supplement my crap luck on drops.

Back in the day, ye PvP was a big focus.

Buttttt back in the day, we didn’t have boatloads of MOBAs, TCGs, FPSs, Autobattlers and Battle Royals. PvP FOCUSED game are inherently better than MMO PvP simply because they can dedicate 100% of their attention to it.

MMO PvP just can’t offer that.

Which has zero correlation as to why people were playing or stuck with it. Most of my friends back then wanted nothing to do with PvP, the rewards just made it worth it at times.

This is CLASSIC wow though. Its a different age. PvP games have evolved to make MMO PvP, outside of a very small group of people who still love it, obsolete.

No one came for pvp, because everyone knows wow’s pvp system is pure trash. If you camer for the pvp, you’re gonna have a bad time.

This is a casual game based on social interactons and building a community mostly derived through pve content, leveling/questing, dungeons/raid, etc.

You’re dumb as a rock if you think pvp in wow was good.

Well, you are just batting wrong all the way around.
Warcraft games had long detailed story lines etc that had nothing to do with PVP, and people played through the campaigns etc.
Why do you think they know the lore so well?
No one learns any of the lore playing PVP.

WoW was not all PVP, ever.
No one knows that to be true except the people inside your head.
Not even on PVP servers.
When PVP gear became separated from PVE, people on PVP realms still raided, and it was not to do better in PVP.

Thank you for your nonsense post of the day, assuming to tell other people why and how they played the game.

PvE is way more fun. And it’s fun how the lore ties into what we do.
I prefer leveling, questing and reading all of the in-game lore to anything PvP related.
