I didn’t call them bad, I said the player that they thought was cheating, is better than them.

No, I ran into a botting ele the other day who didn’t miss a single kick and always kicked at 95% without fail. I also beat that guy several times. Cheating does happen, botting does happen, and ladder manipulation happens (usually only at the TOP end at the end of the season), but it realistically doesn’t prevent anyone from reaching their goals or accessing the game.

Not true. REPORT BOTTERS/CHEATERS IN GAME. However, 99% of the time that someone thinks something is a bot or wintrade, it’s just someone making a mistake. Sharing a video can be a helpful way of pointing that out OR making people aware of potential botters, and you will NOT be banned for doing so (so long as you remove “call outs”).

Cheaters are ACTIVELY banned regularly and have rewards removed:

I wouldn’t call a 2100 player bad.
Maybe a 1200 player.
Everything is relative though. Because the 1200 player is still better than the 500 player. Does rating happen that low? I should check before I compare to 0 rated players, I suppose.

I hear you and understand the reason why you would disagree with the lock. I just feel that the general forum response to anyone who voices cheating concerns is generally met with “it doesn’t happen” or “you are bad”. Then we wonder why these grand conspiracies pop up about you guys orchestrating cheating, win trading, etc… you always seem on the defense when it comes to these types of posts. Anywho, I’m out. I actually am saying just that. I have high mmr on a bunch of my toons. I just don’t have the luxury of time to q a bunch and grind the ladder while I build my business’s.
Also find it funny you will punch down but as soon as someone punches up you go into defense mode. Does your fragile ego hinge on your success in this game?
I don’t think it’s a “you are bad” or even that it doesn’t happen, I think it’s a continued narrative of, “No one is stuck at ANY rating because of bots or wintrading, and 99% of the time it’s just a mistake”
It has nothing to do with defense because there’s nothing to be defensive about. But there are a TON of players who are hard gatekept by their own mentality by blaming a problem that isn’t impacting them.
