I don’t have a classic character? look at the date that this character hit level 50 as well. This is my 3rd shaman, but the only one that has hit 60 so thats the toon I post on. I am by no means a top tier player, but I usually play between 2.1-2.2k.

The Chiefs’ Todd Haley - Never played in the NFL. Has no idea about the on field goings on, on the pro field. He has never been sacked, hit, intercepted, had the feel of a real pro game, etc… Yet, here he is knowing enough about the game to have probably the top 1-3 teams in the game right now. Idk why blizzard struggles with pvp balance so much tbh. Like there are other MMO’s that balanced things out much better. Mostly by just equaling gear out. Then they can narrow down what classes are overscaled. I’d love if wow did a GW2 style of pvp gearing. Where you just have a set for pvp when you go in. Like talents or w/e. Then nobody can cry abotu gearing, or scaling because it’d be gone. It would make it about skill, and who used their abilities right. Still a little rock paper scissors of classes though.

Uh… there is a sizable difference between 1800 RBGs where your maximum achievement is and 2200. Even bigger difference between 1500 arena rating, again, your maximum, and 2k+.
Mainly because the other MMOs completely separate their PVE and PVP. Blizz almost had it right in the days of Resilience. If you were a PVE player with PVE gear coming into a PVP match, you would get pnwed… If you went into a PVE event wearing PVP gear you would get pwned… Why they went away from those days is beyond me…

I am the worst at PvP out of all my friends, but I talk with regularly (everyday) in discord with a bunch of guys who play from 2.2k all the way up to 3k. So you learn things that way ya know?
At the beginning I was dying to rogues too. Then I Qued some games with these guys and they said no look - all you have to do is cc them. And all of a sudden we had no issues anymore
Maybe Blizzard reverted it, but it was part of a hotfix in February. 50% more damage for anyone in tank spec. They did remove scaling and change crit damage, so maybe they removed that too, who knows.

A person’s personal achievements in game don’t indicate a person’s ability to look at information in front of them and make an informed decision or opinion. I mean its not like Dev’s have a 2k+ rating. Honestly if we’re being honest. Dev’s prolly couldn’t hit 1500 most of the time. So that doesn’t really discredit somebody’s opinion.
Tanks do take extra damage its 10%
