Just crazy how bad the healer shortage is. I don’t blame them, it’s a hell scape for them.
You are either chasing Melee zug who LoS non stop and don’t shut down CC / set ups or you on the receiving end and getting stunned / button mashed to death by the melee zug.
Deff not fun for Healers.
while zug isn’t fun it’s not like it’s a new thing. moreso the fact that damage overall is way overtuned. why play a healer to put in so much work to see someone get 1 shot anyway
i agree buff disc
Watch any arena stream, the HP bars yoyo the entire time. Yeah so fun to try and heal when a 20ms lag spike or a non-crit heal is enough to let your teammate die.
Just queue 2’s as double dps - you’ll find all of the healers.
its absolutely terrible. i run around for 30 minute while dh trains me, if i mess up for .5 seconds i die. i miss the days when you had more than one global to do stuff
Yeah on hunter i literally dont defensive cds anymore if i even get touched im popping walls. This games gone beyond hella fast. Had a dh dk rdruid team. Kiting did not exist. Vortex grip rushed stunned stunned…90% slow…micro cc stopped disengage. Root root root…fills like ur in a tornado couldnt even figure out which direction my toon was facing. Dk gave me eye herpies
It’s genuinely harmful to mental health I believe to play healer in WoW pvp now.
It’s not going to get better with this style of balance… I can rip a healer apart more than half the time (while they are frantically trying to survive) which just seems wrong… They don’t seem durable. A Guardian Druid on the other hand can tank my damage indefinitely and eventually kill me with a grand total of 4 buttons while never leaving bear form… PvP balance is pretty borked.
I sapped a healer, put his havoc in a kidney, deathmark then bombed and he didn’t trinket, which obviously resulted in his death, got into the next round with him and he goes “gg this heals”.
Forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.
damage feels pretty similar as shadowlands its just rdruids and evoker gap every other healer. Shaman priest pally mw lost alot of power from shadowlands(exclusively talking about HPS) while rdruid got even stronger with double blooms and shorter cd treeform or invigorate to counter burst and prevoker is a magic dragon demi god
If you ran around for 30 minutes, you died from dampening. Should have helped with dps, maybe cast some of those mistweaver tiger palms/leg sweep/kung-fu fist
20ms is a lag spike? I get 22 on my home server and pvp usually forces me into 150-259 ms… 20 is not a lag spike.
Try playing a healer other than rdruid or provoker in 3s. it’s painful and your abilities just aren’t enough to heal your team.
Shaman healers are off the charts lol. I don’t know why people keep saying they aren’t as good as the other top healers. I would put resto shamans at the top of the pack. The leader boards reflect this too.
Yeah resto shaman is the third best healer but it isn’t because of their hps at all it’s just spriest rsham x offensive synergy is really really good into the rdruid prevoker meta
Come on, man. We don’t need this sort of negativity on the forums.
Do you play wps currently at all? I’m wondering if there are any good tips for the comp I should be aware of playing rsham that I could bring to my team. Two buddies and I are playing wps and hoping to push glad this season.
I think healing in PvP is fundamentally broken in wow for a variety of reasons, healer balance being one but not the most important.
I truly believe healing in WoW needs a major shift towards making healing more engaging in terms of UI elements and healing spell animations. It is a shame in such a great game, healing is a mini game of playing the unit frames. Literally most of my time as a healer spent staring Unit Frames and watching health bars go up and down. This is not a fun nor engaging gameplay.
If you want to increase the amount of healers there are, you have to make healing more fun. And by fun, I don’t mean big healing numbers, I mean actual engaging gameplay that doesn’t really on Unit Frames for effective healing. I am thinking Smart Heals, more utility, and better visuals for healing spells in general.
