I see a ton of threads popping up about griefing - and there is a simple solution.
When people resurrect, give them the same buff you give people who resurrect during the bloodmoon event.
Many problems solved, and the code is already in the game.
I think if you get killed in a graveyard you should get punted to the next closest one.

But many are stuck on PvP realms, and rerolling this late with all the rep grinds is a no-go. I wouldnt want to redo that grind. Hell, I didn’t even do it (lool)
They opened up realm transfers from PvP to PvE but had to shut that down so fast due to mass exodus.
I have always played on a PvP server, and will continue to do so despite having a faction imbalance being not in my favor.
However - I don’t see anything wrong with people being allowed to change their mind and move to a PvE.
All the while adding little things like this suggestion to the game to stop the toxic behaviors that kill the game.

You chose to play a Classic version.
And you chose to play on a PvP server.
PvP, to no extent, has ever been a problem but an important part of player freedom. I have accepted this as a kid, why cant you unstable adults?
And ive been ganked for my opinions/beliefs more harshly than anyone in this game. But guess what i convinced people to form bigger/better raids to help me.

I dunno - maybe the many people in all these threads popping up, including the obvious thread here?
People got split up from friends or have characters split between realms due to shutting the transfer window down extraordinarily fast.
Regardless, I do think they need to add things in game that would reduce griefing without doing something dumb like war mode.
If people love this version of the game, then we have to advocate for changes that keep the player pop healthy. This feels like low hanging fruit.
War mode is exactly what you want, you game ruining retail colonizer.
PvP in no form is griefing.
My stepsister but she got pvp’d.
If I wanted war mode, I’d just say that.
