BFA gearing system would have been fine if they just would have dived in completely and made gear not matter at all. Instead, they had a ton of things going on in the background just to make it seem like gear didn’t matter in PVP which is why it didn’t work.
PVP doesn’t need a PROGRESSION system to feel good. You play pvp to fight other people, defeat them, and outplay them. A proper rank system is more than enough. What they should of done is given us a proper que system and made gear not matter at all.
Giving players a Rank system to strive for and cosmetic rewards to make your char look cooler is more than enough for pvp!
Pvp Talent page should be more than 3 buttons. A proper pvp talent page that has a direct impact on your class Spec and spells is more than enough.
Class design should have way much more impact than this. everything just feels the same
Summary:
- Proper MatchMaking system.
- Gear equalization – gear no longer matters – no weird systems in the background to create an illusion of this.
- Skill is the only thing that should matter
- Progression is a topic that does not belong in pvp. The only progression you should care about is your MMR – Rank status.
- Gear and mount Visual customizations earned from pvp is enough as well.
- class design is really bad right now.
