PVP gear removed from great vault

With the introduction of Delves, Blizzard has decided to remove the PvP section of the Great Vault. This means that players will not be able to receive PvP gear from the Great Vault moving forward.

Also

Shadow Sight now highlights enemies that are stealthed with a red outline that can be seen through walls.

Just a couple of things I learned today

I wish shadow sight would jsut remove you from stealth and keep you from restealthing for 30 seconds or something.

Stealth is such an outdated boring mechanic outside of being in it for an opener or brief reset.

Shouldn’t be allowed to be in stealth for more than 10 seconds at a time once you’re more than 30 seconds in to the game.

Replace shadow sight with a lyran illuminating mortar

I wish Shadowsight would send an automated message to the rogue’s given probation officer for a violation if they sit in stealth long enough.

They increased weekly conquest caps to make up for it.

There’s a quest that gives you conquest weapons after 3 weeks I think it is. A free weapon no conquest needed to be spent then you can purchase conquest weapons after that.

Did they increase the conq reward per win as well or do we have to play more games to make up for the vault being gone too?

They increase the first week cap then the weekly cap increases by more then it used to. Since the Vault was just based off honor and not conquest then yes i guess you will have to play more games to make up for not getting the free PVP piece.

The important thing is making sure we are still progressing at the same rate on a weekly bases with not having the vault item. This change should help us get close to as much gear but without the random chance of getting a piece with the wrong stats.

If you are upset when having to play more of the video game than maybe you just don’t like WOW anymore haha.

not like value wise we lost like 12.5k conquest in value from the vault, but ya know 700 conquest makes that worth?

700 + cost of a two hander/staff

but yeah, nowhere near what was lost

so 2500 conquest im all for pvp vault rng removed but the received conquest is way to low

low enough to the point pvpers might be grinding pve since its only 3-7 item levels lower then conquest gear or even higher than conquest gear

Do we still get two free trophies, something similar to bloody token (upgraded) gear and anything else?

it looks like yes

but looks like it’s only one piece not 100% sure how the crafting works since they made it take more than one currency per craft unnecessary complexity, I love blizzard

Removing great vault pvp gearing was a big win, IMO. I used to have to maintain a PVE and a PVP toon because you obviously didn’t have the freedom to choose M+ gear over PVP gear early season.

Consequently it may also have the same effect on people who primarily PVE but want to PVP on the side but felt like they were at a huge gear disadvantage (wishful thinking most likely, but possible).

For you I might be a big win, for people who only PvE it doesn’t matter, but for people who exclusively play PvP it is an insanely huge loss!

At the end of the season, it might not matter much, but in the meanwhile you might get farmed by PvE guys simply because of gear, which sucks!!!

Nah, complete fiction.

Why are we troll necrobumping a post to fearmonger about a non-issue?

That might be the case for you, but I see quite an issue in losing the vault gear every week but only getting 700 conquest points in total over 10 weeks as compensation.

Because pvp gear still >>> PVE gear and everyone else has the same cap as you.

Why are you being disingenuous?
