There needs to be a bridge between honor and conquest gear.
Bloody tokens worked because it was close enough to conquest that it was usable. The new change to make it equal to honor just doubles the tjme you need to crate farm per character.
Honor gear simply isn’t powerful enough once conquest point pools start to build up. This makes it so mythic raiders and vault tier pieces give significant stat advantages throughout half of the season.
You somehow took a bad gearing system and made it worse by requiring longer grinds and having nearly half its resource cost gated behind pve…

Oh, wow, look at that. They somehow made PvP gearing even worse than it already was. Why is gear with equal ilvl to honor gear timegated? Who knows.
Imagine if all PvP gear scaled to the same level in PvP. That’d be something.

You nailed it. Playing an alt late season was actually doable in TWW because bloody token gear was -3 ilvl from conquest. Now that it is the same ilvl as honor gear, there is virtually no way to be competitive in arena with 276ilvl going against 289ilvl. Why on Earth did they do this?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…
…………….. Are you being serious right now? As an Undead? 80% of crates are taken by Ally thanks to most of the PvP’ers being Night Elves.
Join a crate farming raid in the group finder.
And you’ll have a better shot at getting them.
Speaking as a Horde main.

A fair answer to my mockery. Indeed if someone wants to do warcrates this is the way, but even that is iffy (or it was in TWW when we were still swarmed half of the time). But that’s about as good as it’s going to get.
