With regard to the current state of PVP, I’m finding there are almost no games sometimes, but people are on.
We know SoD will eventually fade away. Once Naxx has been out for a while, it’ll eventually come to an end with whatever Blizzard decide.
At this point, should we just bring back the old system that gave 3 tokens for a win and 2 for a loss? I played more games during then than I have in the last month or two. It ain’t even about the honor or HKs for me. Once you’ve done your weekly raids, there isn’t much more of a reason to login.
It went from games popping in 10 seconds to wait times of an hour in some cases. Having games happen is still better than one occasionally isn’t it? It’s AB weekend as I type this, and I’ve been in AB queue now for 27 minutes.
Please note - I didn’t make this thread to cause arguments. This is really just to see if people are on the same page as me. I just wanna PVP. 
most people have hit rank 14 and horde have loopsided win ratio. its gonna be wait regardless. and go do bloodmoon theres a small active community doing it now.
Yeeeeaa… came back from a break and seen a lot of people on but went to queue and it says unavailable. Really sad to see. Devs really missing the mark on BGs. They need a new incentive to bring players back to battlegrounds.
Devs have minimal interest in anything PvP related.
Theres always a bunch of ABs going on still.
WSG and AV seem disabled outside their bonus weekends. I was able to do a lot of WSG on the last one.
Don’t worry. Blizzard is going to reintroduce Honor Decay to “revitalize” PVP.
They’ll also undo the fix that was done in like Patch 1.6 that allows you to still equip gear you no longer hold the rank to buy. They’ll cite that because the Honor System was revamped to not be a ‘Ranked System’. You can just PVP enough each week to hold on to R14, and not worry that someone might do a bit more PVPing than you and push you out of the Top 0.1%; causing you to bump down to R13.
Why do I doom about this? Because it’s the stupidest way to “fix” the lack of PVP going on. - Once I hit R14 (hopefully in 2 weeks), I’m done. I might PVP on my Hunter to piss of Blue Bars. But I’ll not touch this side of the game again in a meaningful way; it’s been “not fun” to say the least.
Even though my mage is undeared (still working on zg set and mage staff) and only rank 9. I am having fun in bgs.
Some broken stuff just makes you shake ur head at times. But you just go again.
