PvP Elite Transmog coming back in MoP remix - this is false

Hey all,

I noticed in the video at 3:25 and 3:36 that the Season 14 Elite PvP gear was equipped by the Night Elf.

I never finished the set and it’s my favourite shoulders and helm so I’m pretty happy, however this opens up the question of can we get all of the elite pvp sets from any expansion in the future?

It seems unlikely, since there isn’t PvP content and the Arena forums would have a meltdown. But I would br pleasantly surprised by that.

nah, its promotional advertisement they are using MoP things to show off MoP but they said no Challenge mode sets which would include elite sets would be in MoP timerunning

its the marketing team in their own little server doing poses and riding on mounts. they have access to stuff we can never get again

That is really frustrating. I thought they were going to make a comeback so we can finish sets.

It feels like false advertising.

after the season 3 sets for pvp becoming season 4 debacle you still would believe they make old elite sets available?

There was an interview between SoulSoBreezy and a couple of the remix devs yesterday. Soul pointed out that one of the characters in a recent preview was wearing the Monk challenge mode set and asked if the CM sets would be coming back, similar to how they stated the Garrosh heirlooms wouldn’t be coming back and later backtracked.

The dev’s response was that one of their internal team members had made a poor choice in transmogs for the preview and that CM sets would not be returning.

I would expect the same to also apply to elite PVP sets.

not sure what you mean by that sorry, I haven’t played wow for a while.

if you mean swapping the colours they did that in MOP as well with Prideful and Grievous

they made the community vote for the tier set bonus and tier looks for season 4 WoW and wowhead stupidly included the elite versions of the winning tier for the classes. and when season 4 launched pvp got mad that their voted set wasnt added. (ofc because those are old elite sets so they are never coming back)

if legion ever gets a timerunning im sure mage tower mogs also wont be available. the marketing team sure does like to bait and switch

They’d do a lot better if they didn’t arbitrarily remove things, I can hardly blame the marketing team for not knowing the most famous items of the expansion got deleted.

Also: I wish I could reclaim my s15 druid elite set and red pvp enchant. It’s probably one of the largest and longest unresolved debacles in WoW system change history, as yet unresolved for half the original people affected for a decade .

They will be available. Earlier Blizzard stated the heirlooms would not be coming back, but they backtracked and showed them off in the recent preview.
