Alright, so I don’t know really anything about PvP but now that Solo Queue exists I can press the button and slap the keyboard and obtain X amount of rating. Are we still able to get the SL S4 Elite appears in DF PrePatch? They still show up in the Collections as “limited time sets” or whatever.
No. They went away when season 4 ended.

yes you can, you have to boost individual pieces to 8/9 to get the mog, can’t get them with rating alone since it is offseason.

The elite sets almost always go away right as the season ends and for whatever reason if you missed a piece or two, you cant get it even with a ticket proving that you did unlock and earn it. I still have one of my toons that has all the elite stuff, but then I realized one of my pieces was not the elite version for my mog. And even with a ticket proving that I unlocked it I still was not allowed to get the missing piece.
Sometimes elite sets go away the day the season ends, sometimes they actually stay longer.
I have never done PvP still Solo Shuffle showed up, so it’s all new to me. Still trying to figure it all out. Heck, I don’t even know why my rating isn’t going up after matchs lol.
I’m confused how this happens since the appearance is unlocked automatically in the wardrobe upon each rating bracket?
Or do you mean the 2100 non tier set pieces?

Yea like the little pieces that I forget to pick up and then I go to mog it and it is not matching. And it also sucks that they dont show up as a set appearance from your wardrobe. You have to select them piece by piece and save it to one of your custom sets. Cuz I sometimes forget to get the off pieces like wrists and belts are usually not included. The sets are beautiful. But i think whoever makes them is a fan of the Horde as most of the elite sets I have got kinda glow reddish or are orangish. And they have a rugged Horde look to them sometimes on some of the elite sets. Not all of them.
If you forgot to pick up some of the offpieces in shadowlands it wasn’t your fault, they werent all available at the same time in season 3 and 4. They handled that weird by rotating them instead of making new sets
I kind of miss cata/mop/wod and having to save up conquest to buy the sets compared to just instantly unlocking every piece for the class like now though

I completely agree OP, It’s time to remove the old ratings required for all previous expansion elite PVP sets so anyone can buy them with marks of honor, so they are just as attainable once they become old content as mythic raid sets are.
Disagree, what they need to do is remove future mythic set appearances so only cutting edge raiders who do the content when it’s relevant can have them 
(Or they could have CE unlock a unique tint of the tier set that’s time limited, either or)
Who, I didn’t say anything about changing restrictions. I just wanted to know what they are currently. The more they change the more I am out of the loop. I fear change.
