Xaryu is a bad pvper?
Perplexity is a bad pvper?
They both agreed that changed NEEDED to be made. They said 50% was to much.
Nice try bud
translation: “I like being carried by healers”
What the hell does that have to do with anything. A change that is not fully flushed out is a bad changed.
They agreed the changed that was made was bad. The other stuff will show it self more.
70% reduction with mortal strike is a bit broken lol, what’s the point of healing at that point?
Can’t wait for the bugs
what are you talking about??? you eat paint chips as a kid or something??? This is going to feel great. Like I only play healers in PVP and we were unkillable with a flat 50% dmg reduction and nothing to healing. 50% was way to much 20/30 felt like it would have been right and that’s what they went with. Like with a 20% heal reduction I’ll still be putting out more than 400hps which is more than enough for pvp
Yay back to the ad infinitum pvp balances that led to retail!!!
just go play era… it’s right there everyone else played SOD cause it was the classic world with changes
They are trying to throw Warrior’s a bone in PVP.
Plus, if the guy has MS on him you may want to prioritize healing someone else. Another layer to the decision making.
Why the split bewteen magical and physical damage reduction ? Adding a DR aura that splits PvE and PvP numbers is obtuse enough, now we’re splitting the balancing for magic v physical damage ? Why lol
If the stamina buffs in bgs and stv are active I think this will hit the sweet spot.
Prob because FS/lava burst/spriest dots etc hit a lot harder and are easier to apply/execute and have higher uptime than a warrior constantly being slowed.
Not to mention trap shot spam everywhere. Melee is rough.
I know WoW community isn’t ready for this revelation yet, and I say this as a historically healer main - but a highly heal dependent PvP isn’t good PvP. We’ve had like 15 years of PvP bouncing between either nothing dying, or dying in 2 seconds – all in the name of forcing the healer role. It leads to things we’ve already seen like dampening and burst meta. There’s factually a better way, but I suspect we’ll spend another 10 years rehashing the same tired healer vs. healer PvP and ping-ponging between the same couple of predictable outcomes.
Translation: Everyone who disagrees with me is bad and I can ignore them.
Sod team will do anything other than just nerf a few abilities. Instead we get buttons doing different damage against players, and applying an ms that no one will ever know about unless they read this post
Too late. I’ve already given away 2k of gold, 300 mana potions, and all other supplies.
Good luck with game. I just wasn’t going to wait around for the weekly change.
All subs cancelled. And deleted most of my characters.
Advice: A well run company gets a plan, a good one from the start. They make a few adjustments along the way. Not a 360 every week or two.
Whoever is making these decisions and flip flopping should be fired.
this lol
The way he said it isn’t tactful, but it’s not entirely wrong.
Most of the people entirely against the test changes all together are probably not the melee classes getting gibbed instantly, and more likely the classes that can 1.5k-2k crit from ranged or DoT and forget people and they just die.
We all know there’s a certain 4 classes that are consistently leaps above the rest in kills on the BG boards for a reason.
In an ideal world that’d be the best, but you and I know they don’t have, can’t, or won’t dedicate the resources/time to balance all that crap in both PvE and PvP for a seasonal realm.
I’m all for more testing, considering SoD is basically one giant testing ground anyway.
