Mage healing needs to be modified because the damage reduction affects their healing. The damage reduction needs to not be applied to the math when calculating mage healing , as they need to damage to heal.
healing mages need their whole kit, spamming chrono is not cool
These blanket reductions only serve to slow pvp interactions; they also slow the experience. Are we adjusting the game for geriatrics with horribly slow reaction time? As many have already stated, the problematic abilities remain so, ditto the underpowered. Adjust individual runes or don’t bother as, in my experience, it is better to just die quickly to the overly powerful abilities in game than have the experience drawn out but end in the exact same result.
There are 8 million games out there that reward twitch reflexes. I’m totally ok with WoW prioritizing strategy over reflexes. This is why basically nothing should be off the global cooldown. Play PUBG or some other FPS if you want to brag about your reflexes.
I play mage currently in Era and SoD. Mages run out of mana too quickly in SoD, same with some other classes. For example in AB. I living bomb the other team, and I cant do anything else lol… It feels so bad.
the healing debuff needs to be a visable debuff that way people know when to heal for maximum effect.
the healing debuff lasts too long, maybe 5-7 seconds instead of 10.
the current levels of mitigation are okay, I can survive long enough to have heals cast on me keeping me alive unlike before when i would just get deleted, and I am in fairly good PvP gear.
A reminder should be put out in game that this is a test that is only lasting till tuesday, and it isn’t Blizzard changing their mind when they shut off the mitigation, it simply means the test is over.
why ask for more of this s*&t? Why not demand the company and devs you are paying actually do their job and work it out properly, not this lazy, half assed approach of blanket nerfs. Nobody feels good doing 300dmg in pvp and 900dmg in pve for the same ability, so why should that be the aim? It looks bad, plays bad, feels bad and is bad.
All I have seen out of it is 2 wasted pvp weekends now, because i refuse to take part in their lazy “development”, because they refuse to acknowledge they screwed up and make an attempt to fix their screw up.
DR or reslience or healing reductions DO NOT belong in classic of any variation! The pvp this weekend was just as atrocious as last weekend. While I can be selfish and say I dont need to pvp until P4, I enjoy it and want to continue queing…
If weekends like these last 2 continue I will no longer be queing for PVP…do these weekends long enough and if you up the raid size again I may just unsub altogether.
The more people who whine at not being able to get their dopamine fix from seeing one big yellow number coming up and the other person falling over the merrier.
Damage went up drastically, health did not. When everyone is taking at least 25% more damage in pvp with no other change there’s a problem. That’s an objective fact.
It’s also an objective fact that TTK being extremely fast is also bad for the game from a PVP perspective.
