They made it in their controlled environments, such as an arena you spawn in and spawn out. Or a Battleground, spawn in, spawn out.
I think that would be really awesome.

PvP could exist if they just made it so you passed out instead of died. You would respawn in a bed instead of by the spirit healer.

Plenty of other versions of the game that have battlegrounds if instanced pvp is what opie wants.
Era bgs are poppin for example and you can free transfer there from HC!
Not many people would want to join a BG or arena on a high level, well geared character, only to get deleted by other high level, well geared players. Many people would have screamed at Blizzard to allow for such battlegrounds (arenas did not exist in Vanilla), but no one did.
Came here to say exactly the same thing.
Our HC toons go to a reg 60 cap Classic server so they say…probably end up in Cata. Cata and everything beyond was created by the new and current dev team. Wrath and everything that came before was all the old and original team.
What sort of workout do you do that allows you to be this wrong all the time?

I wish all the people who wanted PVP HC servers would just flag 24/7.
But as it turns out, most of those people aint as hard as they try to sound on the forums.

Funny thing is that would be significantly less harsh than a permanent hc pvp server. And they’re already not willing to do it.
What they should do is allow BGs as they are, with the ability to die and resurrect, but without honor or rep. Just something purely recreational to do with your character when you want to.

I think they would have to do just HC vs HC battleground queues. Otherwise, it would encourage behavior where people enter normal BGs, and just do whatever they can to avoid death, rather than participate in the BG objectives.
Of course, HC vs HC BGs means people are most likely only going to want to queue if they are in level-bis with full consumes and premades, and even then…
You can imagine the types of complaint threads we’d see on these forums.
While I don’t really have any strong opinions for or against this idea, as I understand it might be interesting to just test out an HC character that you’ve grown attached to in a BG, you can always just queue BGs on any character that’s on a non-HC Classic Era realm.

Ye lemme just throw 100+ hours down the drain as I subject myself to the torturous 1-60 experience – let alone the time spent acquiring gear – on a duplicate character so I can do BGs on them.
You don’t actually have to respond to everything if the only thing you can think to contribute is blatantly moronic.

And this is ridiculous. Sure, you may not want to play more than 1 character ever in WoW, but I highly doubt that. It’s a game. It’s 100% a waste of time. If spending time playing Classic Era is beneath you, that’s fine, but it’s unbecoming to lash out at others for assuming that wasting time playing a game is something you enjoy doing, since you’re obviously playing some versions of WoW.
If you’re saying that you’ve already leveled to 60 and acquired gear in HC WoW, and don’t have any WoW Classic character in non-HC at that level, well that’s interesting. I guess there’s just nothing you can do. Poor you. Perhaps one day they will either implement the ability for you to queue BGs in HC as you want, or they won’t.

I honestly don’t understand the hatred for wanting normal BGs. They’re a huge part of the WoW experience. People can flag or mak’gora all they want. If you don’t want to BG then don’t.
Players were so upset about the availability of AH or trading because they think everyone should be SSF the whole way, but nobody is stopping you from doing that. Just the same way that nobody is stopping you from queueing for BGs… Don’t allow honor gained/gear from pvp if that’s the true concern, but I think the ability to play some BGs would be a great addition

Blizz even provides you with a free transfer!
