This unique direction of boosting is dying, here’s why:

There’s no doubt solo shuffle has siphoned people out of 2’s and 3’s, which is a problem in my opinion. However, this is not how you fix it. You fix it by providing proper MMR gains in 2’s and 3’s given the deflation of the ladder. Something should be done to make the bracket more enticing to play for people. But this ain’t it. And as someone who has people I enjoy playing with and as someone who also hates solo shuffle, I do hope the deflated 2’s bracket is addressed at some point.
