losing 7,200 hp in a single global was indeed naxx phase. But current one is still bad. Crusader strike for 1700, divine storm for 2,200 (+ all the seals and judgement damage on top of it), meanwhile 108 dps weapon overpower crits back for 600 lmao. I’d need 10x my healthpool to stand a chance when you compare in/out dps and class utility/survivability to even go toe to toe with ret.
warriors are still horrible even in BiS in PVP. In raid with cleave theyre good because the fights are all cleave and all their set bonuses are cleave orientated. But Voss, which is single target, has warrior as the worst class of 9 classes on DPS still at the top end percentiles (even worse at low). And this is with 0 armor target and optimal raid conditions. Warriors even in BiS are entirely obsolete outside of raid.
no you are horrible in pvp. if you need some advice on how to play warrior, ask Dalvio, Fuzzykilla, or kefta.

These warriors need to talk to better warriors because they can CHUNK. Not sure why some are so weak as they suggest.
They are running around with WBs while the ones dying and getting creamed have no WBs. That is probably the difference, at least in my experience.
But it would be nice if warriors got a meta meme spec and hit other plate wearers for 4k instantly too.
My experience is in BGs where world buffs don’t apply though.
My rank 11 rogue has 4900 hitpoints with a stamina flask.
Killshot easily hits for 2k and can be spammed multiple times. Multishot hit me for over 5000 and literally 1 shot me from 100 to 0. 1 button pressed. I didnt look to see who else it potentially deleted but the AB was just in complete shock as the hunter single handedly was wiping out the entire horde team. I think he ended with over 80 KB’s and 2 deaths.
What’s fun about that to anyone who’s not a hunter in 6pc? Nothing.
Until its fixed im done queuing. Was working on 4th high warlord. No point in playing pvp at this point. 30 minute queues for a 15 minute who has the most hunters and paladins match?

Yep. The killshot spam has been a problem and will keep being a problem. The ranged classes have more damage and burst than the melee ones. At least a paladin has to make it to you to do damage. Often times I’m dead at 40 yards before I know who is hitting me.
And it’s almost always a hunter. The fact they survived this long without major PVP nerfs to killshot is beyond me.
There’s a new one shot option for paladins in SE tier, but again it requires the paladin to reach you and a VERY specific setup and it’s not even a ret situation. It’s the first time I felt I could PVP on my paladin. Will see if they nerf it but having it restricted to a specific 6 piece set bonus, multiple rolling buffs, a 3 minute cooldown, and a specific trinket that’s way better than hunters going off every minute.
Same things can be said for tankshamans and 21/0/30 hybrids, balance btw.
The lack of effort to nerf those 3 + hunter is just mindboggling.
Or the fact that most tanks are just more viable then there DPS counterparts, that needs serious explaining. The resolve debuff shouldn’t exist in PvP, it’s a PvE thing.
Yea I think someone claimed that shaman spells don’t do damage, and yet I took 1200 from a shock, alongside an instant cast lightning bolt with overload proc for another 1800 total, so just a casual two GCD 4000 damage. Shaman totally don’t have burst though so don’t worry.
First of all… have you ever fought a decked out shaman in classic? AQ40 or Naxx geared? What are their shocks hitting for?
Second - how exactly did that shaman get an instant cast lightning bolt?
Lastly - 1200 + 1800 = 3000 damage… Where is the extra 1000 coming from?

Shaman damage pales in comparison to boomy/hunter/ret
3k or 4k, thats either 90% of your HP or all of it.
And shamans free damagereductions + sustain make ret/hunter/doomkin damage obsolete.
