If I ever q it’s just human male ret nelf boomy/hunter stacking. It’s just as bad as horde. Stop just trying to blame one side for no reason. The servers are 60/40 ally favored on every realm. Horde is not superior. Making claims like “horde is big problem ally fine. Horde should just all not be shammy/hunter/boomer” is very cringe.

All claims on hear are just BS because we have no system that provides data. It’s all just feelings. Untill a ranked system or some type of bg tracking system comes out nothing will have any meaning.
I’m not. I am telling you, as both Alliance and Horde, when I queue up Alliance stacks just don’t exist. It’s just a bunch of randoms and rarely more than 3 of any given class.
I’m telling you that’s not true in my experience. Same with others. So without any real way to track these claims then none of these claims have any meaning.
So, what is it? do you pvp now or are you talking about of when you queue?
Then stop trying to use your experience as a metric for the game then? You can’t discount MY experience and then say “We have no metrics” while you yourself are giving your personal experience too.

It doesnt have to be class stacking… you think people dont play the OP classes? Why is it that all we see on alliance side are rets, hunters, boomies in that order?
I can say for Rets it’s mostly Ashbringer hype so a lot of rat toons popped up for P8.

Your viewpoint at the core was just “it’s hordes fault alliance is fine” which objectively since we do have the numbers on this is wrong since we know the faction balance on every single sod server is 60/40 ally favored with ally locked. In terms of class stacking I said there is no way to judge despite personal feelings since there is no evidence or any meaningful way to track it which is what I said after giving my take. You’re take can be disputed because we do know that ally is more popular and that paly/hunter is more popular on ally than it is on horde. We know the population ration of classes. paladin is #1 on ally followed by hunter. While horde is druid(by a ridiculously large amount). Followed by priest then mage. Shaman is the 4th most popular class on the horde and is very close to warrior. We have these data points. Now we don’t know if these players are in BGs or not. However objectively horde isn’t the problem when it comes to population issues both overall and class diversity.

Whats absurd about his numbers? aren’t alliance locked on CS? I can’t talk about other servers or numbers I havent seen them myself. But, if I thought he was lying I would go look them up before I tell him he is wrong. What is wrong about his statement?

Every PvP thread derails into the same thing, over and over. Shaman are OP no Ret pally are OP.
The thing is, they’re both extremely strong, but shaman counters pally because purge > seals/blessings, which is why PvP swings in horde favor in SoD. Ret was way out of pocket for phase 7, but shaman have been completely out of pocket since phase 2 in one aspect or another. Phase 2 was by far the worst, and phase 2 enh with double rockbiter + way of earth was actually unacceptable. Probably the most broken PvP spec this game has ever seen. Only other time I’ve seen something so broken in PvP was Wrath of the Lich King prot/holy paladin, and season 2 Cataclysm Forst DK.
Edit: I love shaman, it’s been my main class in Classic WoW since 2019. If there is a Classic + I will absolutely play a shaman again, and I think giving paladins some RNG dispel protection like they got in TBC/Wrath (I don’t remember which one) would solve a lot of issues.
