I use 3pc PvP and 2pc T2/3/3.5 with Judicator on shoulders. Probably not the most optimal setup but I twist pretty consistently in PvP so it works. Could likely optimize it by putting Retributor on shoulders and cancel Judging again.
Show me a clip of you losing to a warrior, lol
I dont lose to warriors. I have lost to dalvio and fuzzykilla, both great warriors. I still win more often than not but they definitely perform better than most warriors
I think i agree. They are pretty strong but not deleting people when they touch them anymore.
Still as resto tank shaman i took 2 1800 damage in one global, pretty strong vs a shaman tank.
They can be really strong still but majority of Ret players are mid at best. Lot of rat toons.
They are really good in the hands of a good player example Ark. But he keeps asking why other rets have never won his tournament. lol… in his eyes its because of shamans and not because they really arent that good. lol
When 50% of ally is ret and majority of people are avg. You will see lots of avg rets
If ally has the same amount of locks as horde those shammy would just fall over. Shaman will never kill a lock the lock can unironically just sit there and not move and the shammy wouldn’t kill a geared affli.
I’ve been saying it forever… if alliance had more locks and mages they could control shamans. I dont know what shadowpriests are using of late but they are slapping with mind fray.
Spriest just have short range. It’s unfun to play pvp in sod tbh. No one wants to play against the sea of human rets or nelf hunters. And ally casters don’t want to deal with the hundreds of boomys and ele. With each side having the same amount of class stacking it’s just boring. Id rather play pvp on retail or even mop ptr. Sod is boring to spam AB all the time since there isn’t anything worth while. Players want rewards for their efforts. You just don’t get anything through pvp anymore. If they added a ranked system it could make pushing rating something that could be a fun goal. However it’s just boring ATM.
I still pvp and im about to start the grind on a warrior. I won a Dark Edge with a 2 roll. LOL
When i queue with my shaman I always go to GM and hope for a 1vX and usually its just 1v1 and I rarely lose. =)
I was telling a SP friend that is grinding now. SP need that disarmed horrified spell in SOD. I think that would help alot.
There are definitely people who just like to pvp on sod 100%. I’m not saying there isn’t. However the majority of the pop just raid logs. There isn’t any new content comming and the average classic player isn’t going to just sink hundreds of hours into sod pvp for nothing. They would rather play anniversary or cata. Numbers show this not only in the pve content but also the pvp content. Blizzard needs to add something to help the population out.
Mid at best being the key words. Most don’t even meet that.
Yes the avg ret pvp main on sod is very mid. Most pvp players on any classic server is compared to retail players but that is irrelevant when talking about what class is superior since we have no metric to gauge it accurately.
I 100% agree if nothing is done SOD might as while just end. No one will stick around and its such a shame because its the best version of wow at the moment. I wont play retail and I wont play MoP.
Whenever I’m stepping into AB (which is rare these days) it’s always a couple paladins and a couple hunters on Alliance side, and just wall to wall shaman and hunters on Horde. And often the same ones over and over, while I rarely see the same Alliance players. This is true for EITHER side btw, when I play Horde or Alliance.
Exactly it’s just class stacking and very boring to play into all the time.
But what I am saying is I don’t see the Alliance class stacking hardly at all. Just the Horde. Weirdly there’s a lot of Alliance warriors these days.
Horde in recent BGs I’ve played have had more balanced comps compared with all the rat Ret toons on Ally.
I grinded a mage to r14 and just finished my r14 on shaman. You dont play nearly as much as I do. I call BS on those numbers. I usually see 4+ rets and 2 or 3 hunters 2 or 3 boomies.
