I get people are strategically timing this with TWW cause why would blizzard care about era right now but I took a screen shot of 4 AV games I played and counted names, the lowest afk/bot count was 11, the highest was t w e n t y.
This isn’t even an AV problem, doing some WSG games you get people who just run down attacking first thing even totems.
I’m just screaming into the wall right now but I’m sad. It’s not even a horde problem either, I can name probably 4-5 alliance bots off the top of my head and check a scoreboard to see people in the game the entire time with bonus honour and 0 HK’s

Yeah it is frustrating. Not much more Blizzard can do. They can detect bg botting by repetitive movement patterns but the people who manage the botting software just change that pattern a lot to avoid detection. All we can do is continue to report the players and hope other people are doing the same.
I guess that raises the question of whether Era has its own team. If it does not, then TWW might make a difference, but if it does (I’d imagine it does), then what difference does it make if another version is releasing?

That really depends whether the dev team is also the team handling player reports is also the team handling customer service is also the team, so on. I’m working under the assumption in-game violations and reports is a separate entity from the wow dev team, and is just a catch-all net. I have no idea if that’s the way it works - just my assumption.
Yeah, it’s possible. If that is the case though, it’s also possible that there are individual people or teams within that entity that are responsible specifically for certain versions or even realms.
I think I recall seeing something about there having been 1 person responsible for verifying bots/hacks for APEX Legends, and a very noticeable spike when he was on vacation.

Time for the blizzard to break out the ban hammer.
Blizzard no longer has an online GM, The cost of paying an extra person’s salary is too high
All the battlefields in Asia and China are filled with robots, and American servers are also in danger
They can If they wan to, other games like LoL are quick to punish afkers. A few years ago paying for a subscription resulted on better service…
Too late comrade, we’re infested too.
this is a system problem, its less of a hassle just to afk for hph than actually play for it and the reward is the same.
Yeah, it would seem that the bots are back after the second revival of Era.
Why does the GM here never interact with players
Joke is on you comrade, there is no GM.

With the Release of SoD there was a major dip in the number of people playing Era, but now there’s enough people playing Era that AVs are running all week.
And yet we still had plenty, we had constant WSG pops and all kinds of good times.
WSG is not AV.
AV is popping, at least during the week.
but when SoD was hype, you couldn’t get an AV outside of AV weekend to save your life.
The only BG that matters is WSG, and I only avoid WSG on WSG weekend because the quality of play goes down the toilet.
In regards to WSG, even when it was the only one popping, botting and afks were rampant even without the weekend crew. Remember the dual boxer, the druid somehow online 24/7 but only playing ~some games, and the slew of mages who seemed to only have blizzard on their bars?
yeah how can I forget shadowwater… and grasenergy; that guy cost me near every game that I was stupid enough to solo Q.
I parsed the data today; and the DD Alliance are potentially the most unwise and foolish players (I am being very polite here) and yes I am lumping them into a single clump because I just don’t care… (I know there are a few good ones), but the worst players I have ever seen play AV.
They go full scorched earth on the horde puggers “honor farming” them… Thinking this is the best path forward and “optimal” honor…
Yes I inspected these clowns, they’re rankers 100%, many are R12/13 now and they’re just really bad… Any way, they spend all game (25 to 30 mins) and forget to do several objectives, basically don’t play the objectives and waste a ton of time on slaying horde for ZERO points.
I am not kidding when I tell you my roog is 100% DR’d on KB’s vs near every horde player in AV, and considering I took breaks and farmed Black Rock instead because it was better honor per hour (yes its better) than playing with those idiots…
Did the math, and tracked some of them; they’re doing on average across the whole day assuming they were always in Q 7.72K honor per hour… EL OH EL. Talk about dogwater bad.
In Blackrock I was pullin in 9.2K until the heat got turned up and I had to dip; they brought a kill team. I was like NOPE! outskie! But at least Black Rock is fun.
