I’m ngl, if I was r1 skill level and good enough to do boosts, in view of blizzard’s more or less hands-off policy/inability to do anything about them, then boosting would definitely be a side hustle for me, as long as the $$$ was good.
That is cheaper than I imagined it would be, my guess was going to be 500-600 dollars, which yeah probably isn’t much money to most wow-players these days (e.g., since we’re on the older side as far as gamers go), but still a lot to many I imagine.
I would hate to spend the money on something like that though, because imo it diminishes the achievement + I’d have to live with knowing that I didn’t really earn it (e.g., even if I played my own character, I would know that I got a reward from a bracket I don’t possess the skill to compete in, and that I am only riding around on my fancy mount because I paid some mofos to not only carry me, but also to tell me how to play my character throughout the process).
