Average joe here. Don’t get me wrong. I know there are flaws in this expansion. But think about this:
-All 3 rogue specs are viable
-Both arms and fury are viable
-Boomkin is viable
-Ele is viable
-Frost and fire are viable (can’t confirm about arcane. See them less then I see my ex)
We wouldnt have thought that these specs would ever be viable in PVP before Cata. Even some of these specs weren’t even viable in Cata.

ok but have you queued the actual game?

Well the most of the rest have always been viable.
Queud into 2 different arcane mage teams today and they seem to counter wizard cleaves, so they seem good!
I actually enjoy this xpac. It feels like there’s a lot of comps that are viable that I hadn’t seen in a long time. Besides the gearing/trait issues that are blatant, balance is pretty good less a few things. (Hpal’s need to oom eventually).
They have done a great job with viability and comps. I think we call all agree Activision dropped the ball in many other areas. Lol. Many, many other areas.
I mean all those were specs were viable in legion.

Sorry cataclysm season 10 want to tell you a few words.
Arms was good, ele and enh were good. Sub was amazing, assa got few plays. Fire and frost mage were pretty good, arcane was bad though. Both boomy and feral had tier 1-2 comp. Affliction was the best but destro was also glad material. Unh dks were cancerous and it was the only cancerous class because of necrotic strike reducing casting speed. Rets were op but no oneshot gimmick and you could still beat them.
Healers balance was great with the exception of rdruids being the weakest but had its place in niche comp

Balance is okay right now…
Still major issues with RNG traits and gearing in general.

Imo: this xpac is great when it comes to the viability of specs/classes but it doesnt really matter because the gameplay itself isn’t that fun.
Edit: bring back vendors.
