PvP Balancing is ruining PVE

I feel like all the adjustments, nukes, nerfs, buffs are mostly to appease the PvP players. I have not and never will do PvP in SOD.

Why does it matter if a druid can starfall/cat a bear in Darkshore or a hunter can explosive shot a pig in Dun Morogh.

All the balancing is just making the game boring and SOD unnecessary. If we want more of the same we can just play era.

Who cares if BFD is easy and we’re OP. It’s a level 25 dungeon.

I don’t care about other people. Why can’t the game be balanced only around the things I do?

Takes one nerf and now they not having fun anymore. Bro do you even know how many times fear has been nerfed over the years?

You’d be wrong. If you think hunters got nerfed because of PVP you are sadly mistaken.

I’m not just 1 person. There are post after post of PvP players griping about nerfing hunters, priests, locks, rogues, druids. It’s mostly PvP driven with a sprinkle of end game raiders. This isn’t Black Desert or some other PvP centric game.

Blizzard is cowing to the vocal minority. Most players just want to have a bit of fun.

Blizzard tailoring to pvp players? must be delusional. Go parse somewhere else.
No idea how thats “fun”

This is the PvP mentality 100%. Rarely will you see PvE players call for nerfs because something “OP” doesn’t really hurt PvE players even if it’s not their class. It’s not until PvP player A gets ganked by player B that the nerf bat must be swung. With zero regard to how it works in PvE.

I have not and never will do raids in SOD.
What now?

Are you talking about the spammable CC that is supposed to break on damage, but never does?

When you see the complaints and calls for nerfs, yes it is generally for PvP reasons. Having said that, nerfs should happen for PvE when classes are so far ahead of each other, people are stacking them in raids.

SoD was advertised as a way for us all to feel a little op. This was never something that would work out great for PvP. We are also at low levels where certain classes have always dominated in, such as hunters, but they drop off at higher levels.

If they nerf runes to the point that they are just extra buttons to press, like they did with hunters, then they went too far. It defeats the point of runes to begin with.

No one cares about pve.

Oh you can kill an NPC pixel 4 seconds faster and do more damage, who cares honestly. Lame and cringepilled.

Pvp is for chads that game

First, not true.
Second, all but 2 servers are PvP so you’re outnumbered anyways even if they did do it that way.

They were bug fixes.

Stop crying your pet isn’t stronger than 2 other players anymore and is only stronger than 1 other player.

Yeah, cause we saw saw so many posts that said “Hunter pet made us clear the dungeon super fast and I don’t feel like I earned the loot!!”

There should always have been different magnitude of abilities for PvP and for PvE.

Yea that’s not how they decide on buffs and nerfs. You realize that contrary to your poor logical brain’s way of thinking, Blizzard does not troll the forums to see what people are complaining about and then make adjustments there right?

They use data and information to target their decisions. And the data and information showed an incredible increase in solo pet tanking in BFD, where groups were just not even using an actual player tank. And they decided that was bad. And that is the ONLY actual nerf hunter pets received.

The other changes were BALANCING changes. pets that were performing out of line were scaled down, and ones under performing was scaled up. Only a fool or a liar would claim that hunters were significantly nerfed with these last patches. Latest warcraft logs data shows them sitting at 2nd for ranged spec and 4th for melee spec. Melee spec, the meme hunter spec, is outperforming EVERY caster dps in the game. Get a grip and git gud.
