Hey guys,
So I have been using raidbots and recently got into askmrrobot and I'm getting mixed results. Currently I'm sitting at just under 13% haste and both are still telling me to dump haste in favour of crit/vers. I'm already finding some downtime with energy regain in longer fights which is a little unenjoyable.
Askmrrobot has also suggested ditching my haste MH enchant for an increased attack speed enchant. It also suggested stacking 2x increased haste with adrenaline rush trait however, with 1 azerite trait in this atm, I find that I gain more energy than I can spend so adding in another trait would most likely worsen this situation.
Are these accurate? I constantly read to stack haste haste haste yet my sims tell me otherwise. I was stacking deadshot and enjoyed it but, gear drops forced me to change what I was using.
Can anyone give me some clear information about this? Also, is there a preference for raidbots or askmrrobot? Is one more accurate than the other?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
depends on what are u doing... pvp(versa crit) or pve (haste crit)
doing some arenas and general content with 2 deadshot and 1 snake eyes but i know this gonna be nerfed so i will change... if u can only stack deadshot and ruthless precision, your damage will be good

I keep the same armor and the same combat macro. My DPS swings up and down as the weeks pass. It's not so much the RNG or what I am doing as I think there is a mastermind in the background tinkering with the stat values.
Imo Mr. Robot is jank. As for raidbots, it only simulates under specific parameters. Once you’re up there in Ilvl, it becomes a sort of ‘feely-craft’ where you, the player, have to take your expertise of your class, and make the little gearing decisions based on what you’re doing.
Example: there’s a trinket that I have that sims WAY higher than my others, with raidbots (on both single target and hectic add cleave) HOWEVER, it’s not practical and I don’t get the full use of it during M+, so I opt to use other trinkets.
Sims will only get you so far. My suggestion is to get involved in your class discord, and find a streamer who plays your class/spec and does the content you care about. I learn a LOT of tips and tricks this way.

Pretty much purely M+. I do have a crit/vers set for pvp. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the info mate, I appreciate it. I'm certainly finding it strange it wants me to dump so much haste at under 13%. My gear, my weapon enchant and even my ring enchants. That'd pull my haste down significantly.
I'll take ur advice and I'll muck around with my own builds for a while.
As for ur example with the trinket. I bloody wish! I haven't been able to get my trinket drop in a month and got another otem I won't use in my M+ cache again and I'm not even geared that well either :(
Lastly, are u able to print me in the direction of a good discord? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
@Asmodean
Ravenholdt.net is the popular rogue community website. They also have a discord called ravenholdt.
Pretty avid players in there, they all stay pretty up to date.

Yup. I had a M0 Kul'Tiran Cannonball Runner. While it sims very high, it has the problem of being completely useless with anything involving movement because the frontal cone of the thing is TINY.
To OP: Traits and Talents can also affect your stat priority. Trust the sims. Sims are not very good for giving you a dps estimate, but they're very good at telling you the relative value of stats and/or gear. If it says crit and/or versatility is better than haste, believe it. Just because you have more downtime doesn't mean you're doing less damage.
Thanks for the replies guys I greatly appreciate it.
I kind of have a bit of an unrelated question but, figured Id ask u guys. I ran a +7 freehold on the weekend with a few guys out of my community. Now, I'm not bad at my spec, I could probably do a better job but, I generally sit at the top of the dps chain or level with people with the same ilevel.
I ran with a spriest who had a very high ilevel score and a DH who was in the 340s I think and he didn't have all enchants. Both of them absolutely killed me in dps. I wasn't surprised at the spriest but, the DH. I felt ashamed and embarrassed. Needless to say they bailed and probably do not want to run with me again.
Are dhs that good atm or was I just performing badly? I felt I did get bad rolls most the run which was frustrating rolling over and over and I was pretty damn exhausted as to it was very late for me but, surely I should of done better?
I'd really appreciate help on that one.

It could be your azerite triats. They aren't really that great. I know you must have bad rng. But I dunno about the DH or SP. But they could have their optimal triats. That's what I could see from your armory. Try bloodmallet website to see which triats to select.

Thanks for the reply! Yeh I know my azerite trials are not the best but, unfortunately for me I got big ilevel upgrades and have no real choice unless I drop them all back to 340.
I simmed via raidbots and these seem to be the best choices to use. I really find the azerite armour system to be less than desirable.
I'm pretty sure bloodmallet suggested either ss or deadshot but, I'm not a fan of SS and as I said, cannot get gear with deadshot azerite choices.
I’d get Pawn and input your stat weights every week. This will help you find the best balance and DPS. I am in the exactly same situation as you. Sim tells me:
Crit(1.81) > Ver(1.78) > Haste(1.2) > Mastery(1.0)
I’ve been stacking crit and Vera cause of that. I think I have 12 or 13 haste. Crit is 28%. Vera is 9 or 10%. Mastery is 15. I think in my pve gear. My PvP gear is currently equipped.
