PVE Loop - What do you do?

Does anyone else play PvE like this?

I will typically do all of the story quests and gear up a bit - this season that has meant +11 delves and TW raid but once I clear the raid once or twice I lose all interest in PvE? I saw the story and got to enjoy the raid with my guild. I don’t care about gearing up what so ever. I also just don’t do M+ and haven’t since S2 of SL. Just not for me and once i’ve cleared the raid i dont care as there are no story components to M+.

Then I spend all my time queing arena where I feel they respect your time a lot more and there is a lot faster sense of progression. You also have 0 RNG when it comes to gearing.

My order of operations tends to be;

  • Get KSM
  • Slowly work towards raid set depending on if I have an active guild this can be between LFR to Heroic.
  • Maybe get AoTC. I failed to do this in SL a few times but I was new.
  • Usually be a helper to my friends and otherwise chill. I’m a Monk 1-trick so I just do all roles on it.

Let’s see, since I despise PvP, I do:

  • Weeklies
  • WQs
  • Pet Battles
  • Higher delves
  • Old content I missed the first time
  • Rep grinds
  • Mount hunting
  • Achievement hunting
  • Mog Hunting
  • Swap to a low level alt for some classic questing
  • Go play Horde on my EU account
  • Run LFR with the guild
  • Solo old Heroics and Mythics for lots of reasons
  • Find the minigames and give those another shot
  • Craft orders at the crafting hall
  • Go farm ore and herbs

and if I am super bored, I will go sit in Trade Chat and have a chuckle. Oh, and I still go and RP on Wyrmrest Accord from time to time just to write my own stories and spend game time with other roleplayers.

PvE loop doesn’t really do it for me anymore.

It stopped being fun the moment my friends quit years ago.

It’s really not enjoyble in a PuG environment, so I just stopped.

PvP is my only mainstay activity in WoW, alongside world content and stuff like collections and achievments.

I can still have fun by myself in PvP.

I do the solo route on my characters.

Weeklies, World Boss, LFR, Delves.

I skip the mythic/pet battle weeks.

Outside that, collect stuff and achievements from older content with a friend who also enjoys that.
