Pve gear should never better for pvp than pvp gear. That’s asinine logic.
Your right i will give u this 1 shot isnt possible but you can easily 2 to 3 shot someone. Don’t beleive me you can see some youtube videos

I did just tweet the devs Nawats idea about offering mana pearls through Bgs for the benthic gear. I’m not entirely opposed to vendors.

I agree but this is now against blizzards philosophy. They want gear to be just gear. (I disagree with this because they have always been unable to balance the two).
I’d just be okay with pve gear not being so dominant. I hate to say it but I’d take templates over the current system because they can’t balance the two gears.
We have to ask for something that will not piss off the pve overlord devs. Asking for PvP gear to be king in PvP is too much. Let’s just ask to not be lesser.

it’s just funny to me how they don’t allow them in arena comps (because ya know, they’re busted). Then they take 2/3 of a season to nerf… Bleh

I’m confused. When did people start using RBG wrong?
RBG = Rated Battle Ground.
BGs = Casual battle ground.
Am I wrong??? WTF is happening.
Mythic 10 is as easy as 5 x 1500 rated arena match wins and slightly harder than 4 x BGs wins. Yet, you get 430-440 ilvl items like Cut Of Death which is crazy strong and can win arena matches by itself. See what happens when you run into a TSG team with 2x CoD or BG team with 6x CoD. Good luck.
The gear advantage for players is also more apparent the first couple of months or so of a new tier and as the xpac ages. M+ players can get larger health pools and optimal stats/trinkets/weapons much faster than a 1800 rated player and most certainly faster than a casual BG players without much more of an effort.
Can skill win? yeah, but more often you are seeing experienced pvpers with broken M+ gear. Which is stupid… cuz maybe pvp should provide the best pvp gear.
Gearing in pvp is broken. WoD was the best iteration of pvp gearing we have had.
It would have been if the best pvp gear came from rated pvp.

Yeah. I would have gated conquest gear behind rating like they do for elite xmog now… 1400,1600,1800 and 2k for weapon.
But,
Pvp gear was best for pvp.
Pve gear was best for pve.
Yet gear was still viable for the other.
Vendors so you could target gear/stats you wanted.
Multiple avenues to get the currency need to get said gear.
Gear actually looked good and was class specific.
Very alt friendly.

That’s a strange way to look at things. Plenty of people put a lot of effort into the randoms they queue. I’m not sure where this false equivalency of “random = no effort” comes from.
I’ve been in several LFR’s, for example, where a mythic raider comes in for a transmog appearance and winds up leaving the group after 2 or 3 wipes because the tank didn’t speak English or too many people were missing the mechanics of the fight, etc.
While the opposition may technically be less difficult in random group play, the “ease” of content is very often offset by the random nature of the group. Effort is still required, frequently more so than organized group play.
Organized groups typically ask for ilvl requirements, achievements, rIO scores, etc, all in the name of ensuring success. Random, on the other hand, is exactly that. From my experience, random grouping typically results in far more challenging content than the lower tiers of organized play. It’s simply that the ease of access maximizes time spent playing rather than waiting around for a team to come together that meets the leader’s criteria.

Good Point and Reminds me of running with Pugs when i used to raid - now that was disorganized chaos…But i loved the challenge!

The OP is indicating its not worth the effort to put together a group when you can just spam M+ for better gear and more efficiently.
