You can indeed. The matchmaking process just is not automated like the battleground que system is.
You still have to manually form the dungeon group. The battleground finder does all that work for you.
It wouldn’t even be that huge of a deal to me, but it is just blatantly hypocritical at that point. I want the process of the group forming for dungeons to be automated. Just like it is for pvp.
