Blizz hasn’t dropped the ball this hard since SL Season 2 Conduits… Whoever thought this was a good idea, replace them.
If you are one of the top 1% that’s getting a free Mythic Jasper Diamond, congrats I’m happy for you. If you’re a casual pet collector thats getting a heroic jasper diamond, I guess I’m happy for your too.
If you’re a mid-core mythic prog raider, then I feel your pain. Come here, we’ll cry it out together.
Feels like the sort of thing that should reward 1 tier higher. If you have killed heroic versions, then mythic versions are available, if you have only done LFR then its normal for you! That said the extra 2 levels on gear should help teams to push to those tiers to select your gear from as well. 
What the hell is mid-core? You’re a heroic, casual raider.
So……to summarize: you want something (mythic). Without putting in the effort.
Blizz is already giving out weekly buffs to raiders. And now have bumped up the gear ilevel cap. If you are STILL struggling on mythic bosses - no amount of gear can help you.
None of this help the real problem of mythic raiding: micromanaging the life of 20 people to synchronize them to be able to log in at the same time long enough for the weakest link to stop wiping the 19 others.
Why should the LFR people get something (Heroic) without putting in the effort but Heroic people get nothing even when they do put in the effort?
There’s a disparity that exists, he’s not just whining about not getting free loot.
This is the problem and Mythic raiders will jump in and defend this because they are afraid that it will negates their elitism.
While I am positive that Mythic raiding is extremely difficult, the real reason why so few people are able to clear it is because of the lockout. If you’re not already a member of a Mythic Raiding Guild you’re probably never going to get it. They call it the Roster Boss.
I imagine mid-core are guilds that clear 4 or 5 bosses out of 8 mythic. Literally are mid prog guilds.
Until you kill the last 3, a mid core guild = AOTC guild.
