Puzzling Dinar QUESTION!?!

So you should kill the corresponding boss to get the loot right? So Mythic boss kills opens up the Mythic loot — but with Blizzard’s logic that should do the corresponding difficulty, does that apply to Heroic also? Apparently people who only do LFR or normal can then get Heroic items?

Kinda defeats the whole argument that you should do the content to qualify for it, right?

The dinars this season are entirely designed for players that don’t do mythic raid level content. Which means these dinars shaft a large portion of the player base in that their useless until you kill the boss. In all honesty they should modify how these work to at least be upgradeable to the next track once you down the relative boss.

It’s probably more a statement about ‘generally most players who try will likely kill atleast 4 Heroic bosses’ which I’d say is true.

Whereas if you PuG mythic right now you’ll probably get Vexie down, lucky to get CoC down but then PuG wipe/break at Rick Reverb (or so are my experiences).

precisely. heroic loot isnt good enough to keep them from throwing it around for walking into lfr. but myth loot is so much better than heroic loot (in what ever way you want to slice it) they have to gate keep 3 items. entire argument is :poop:

Yes its somewhat unfair TBH.

Like, at least make people try.

Because the skill gap between lfr and heroic raid is smaller than the gap between heroic and mythic raid.

I don’t even know what the current status of how they work is anymore.

My opinion is that Dinars should strictly be bad luck protection if they are going to exist. “Bad luck protection” assumes you had bad luck and didn’t get the items you wanted after clearing the content - so you must have cleared the content.

I’m in favor of a gear vendor where we earn currency and buy what we want (like in Wrath of the Lich King), but that’s a totally separate issue and not what Dinars are for.

It’s also very stupid that the same gear exists on multiple tracks. If each difficulty/set of content had it’s own unique loot table the we could stop complaining about lack of upgrades and only getting the Heroic version of a BIS trinket. Just make different gear that is only seen by the players who do that specific content.

Not really. Not when heroic raid gear is handed out for doing 4 M0s every couple weeks

they do the same with myth track now days as well. i mean you are 1/8m with 5 pieces of myth track and it’s tier. what’s the difference

Yes it absolutely does but people are only protective of the top track for some unknown reason.

Hey, don’t you come in here being reasonable like that.
