I logged in this morning after updating my game excited to try and get the Puzzling Cartel Chips, but the quest and vendor are not in the location that everyone is standing around, I have closed and reopened my game. I have been doing content throughout the whole expansion so I am up to date on this character I am trying to get the quest on. My friends can’t share the quest with me. I’ve done timewalking dungeon, 4 normal raid bosses, and a mythic + dungeon and no quest has shown up.

Well, im sad that youre having the issue as well, but hopefully Blizzard will be able to help both of us cause I was pumped to get some gear with these cartel chips! The GM’s told me to make this post after I had made a ticket about the problem.

same this is getting annoying, I really hope they fix it for the people who can’t see the npc nor recieve the quest from the poster.

i looked on wowhead there is no info on what is needed to see the quest from the poster. if people cannot see the (!) on the poster then it’s a waste of time trying to get it…
the lack of info is annoying

Same issue here, can’t find poster or npc where they should be. Opened a ticket and replied twice on it, GMs keep insisting that I should report a bug and go to the forums or Wowhead for more info… r u serious…
GMs also couldn’t specify what the prereqs are for this quest, amazing.

idk tho but i’m guessing by the sound of that GM’s reply, they can’t just spawn an NPC that almost everybody sees except you
“Almost everybody” doesn’t make it bro. It has to be for everybody or else they shouldn’t release broken content. Also, who asked a GM to spawn an npc? Where u read that? We’re just trying to figure out what is the prerequisite for this quest but not a single GM seems to know that information.

and “almost everybody” does make it actually, if 99% of the player base is able to play the content without issues, i don’t want them delaying stuff because 1% can’t
Clear and accurate information, which clearly they don’t have received from the devs. They need to sort that out internally. The GM’s should at least be able to assist in “do quest X, then Y, then you’re set” but no, they don’t help with anything on this one.
Except they cannot. That would fall under the Gameplay Hints category and they cannot help with that. Hence their usual answer of checking Wowhead or the forums.
Have you fully completed the War Within storyline and the max level campaign on at least one character?
I thought maybe they’d fix it with the Tuesday update, but I still can’t see or pick up the quest & the vendor isn’t there either, I would have 4 chips by now but still nothing from blizzard about it either.
Have you done the full TWW main campaign?
Edit: looking at your achievements it doesn’t seem you have. Try completing the campaign and see if the quest is available to you after.

i just turned in the quest and received only 1 chip instead of 3.

Only the first quest gives 3. Every subsequent week gives 1.
Fantastic! There’s been no official word as far as I know, but so far everyone who hasn’t seen the quests hasn’t finished the main storyline. Just further confirmation that it needs to be done.
