Puzzle challenges!

It would be rather interesting if there were solo puzzle challenges that changed the pace of the game. Instead of solely focused on fighting monsters, puzzle challenges are about solving complex puzzles involving monsters and dungeons.

If any of you ever played the gameboy game golden sun, and its successor, golden sun 2, you will know what I am talking about when I say puzzle dungeons. Those games had massive puzzle dungeons that were difficult to solve, and required critical thinking skills instead of fast reflexes. There is a deep satisfaction to be had when completing a puzzle dungeon.

So, what are some examples of what a puzzle dungeon in wow could be? Well here are some starting examples:
1. Mobs actually don't deal that much damage to the group, but deal insane damage to the tank.
2. Mobs can be CC'd on top of pressure plates in order to keep doors open for the party to walk through.
3. Mobs have more health than normal.
4. Mobs do not come in groups, they stand apart so that tanks don't break cc on accident.
5. There is no time limit to puzzle challenge dungeons.
6. Puzzle challenge dungeons have multiple solutions.
7. Puzzle challenge dungeons have activation spell stones. If you cast a spell at the stone, the stone can recast that spell at other stones in the dungeon.
8. puzzle challenges involve solving mirror and laser puzzles.
9. Puzzle challenges have lethal traps. Failure to pay attention to the traps results in the group wiping.

All in all, the puzzle dungeon is a very challenging experience from a critical thinking standpoint, and people who simply rush the challenge and are in a go go go hurry hurry, nothing but ilvl matters, tactics be damned mentality will be severely punished. On the other hand, even people with low ilvl will be able to complete puzzle challenges and get rewards. However, they might take a little longer, but because this is a strategy, tactics and puzzle solving dungeon instead of a straight dps challenge, this broadens who is allowed to come, and makes ilvl less of a focus in this environment.
Your idea seems to run counter to the current design paradigm of making the same dungeon harder with affixes and timers. Something with a slower pace (that prioritizes strategy and skill over zerg rushing) could be interesting.

Thanks for the thoughtful idea!

However, I play wow for the zerg mindless slaying, the interesting places, the story etc.

If I want to solve puzzles I just download a phone game. I don't want deep puzzle solving in wow. Further, it doesn't fit with the idea of an mmo.
