Putting the War Back in Warcraft

This one still hurts me. We’ve gotten, what, one or two troll visages that aren’t just bg npcs?

Bwonsamdi and De Otherside, not but a few nazmir quests related to them.

And then the blood troll armor in august trading post, displayed on a blood elf. :pensive:

All this talk about what the Alliance should’ve been poised to do is all well and good, but we need to remember that the Alliance is composed of good, upstanding citizens, just the same way the Horde is. Both sides have had some bad eggs. Some of them got into leadership positions. The Horde really appreciates the Alliance having the Horde’s back when certain people have been naughty.

The good news is that we’re totally on the up and up! We’ve got some newlyweds and old people as leaders now. Definitely nothing to worry about. Probably. The smart people at the Alliance saw that all this mumbo jumbo about “keeping an eye on the Horde” and “forced relocation” and “cultural destruction” and “the genophage” was just a bunch of malarky and not necessary.

Nothing to see here folks. Keep a movin’!

Nothin’ to see here, unless you’re at Bilgewater Harbor! Place is great. Real happenin’ scene. They’ve got what you need over there. Even what you don’t think you need. Or what you don’t want other people knowin’ that you need.

Ty- Tyranny of the Light?! At this time of year, at this time of day, in a future expansion, maybe in the next one, or the one after, agreed as the most amazing awesome idea entirely localized in the millions of discord servers I’m in that all agree I’m a very cool person for making this joke again ?!

It’s more likely than you th- wait a minute

Yes haha, your little echo chamber is so funny. I’m sure you also have so many great ideas of your own on top of it.

I definitely did!

Horde & Alliance vs Zoning laws!

Imagine the cool expansion feature like going to your local townhall meeting to discuss the benefits of removing single family housing laws and then getting aggro’d by a NIMBY and bamboozling them with well thought out research and facts. Then getting signatures for a petition to open up the voting raid and then standing in queue for hours to cast your vote to defeat the single family zoning lawl and get phat lewt called PLAYER HOUSING

For real, you know there isn’t a forum cabal, right?

If there’s one Alliance civil war that should happen, it should be everyone that’s not a noble vs the House of Nobles. They were completely complicit in Onyxia’s shenanigans and I don’t buy the throwaway line that Shaw and Anduin were rooting corruption out in the background. I at least want a patch for an Alliance working class uprising. Just one patch, as a treat.

Totally not. >.>

There is, however, a Correct Opinions Society, of which I am a founding member.

Yeah. Definitely not.

But really the people that are in the cabal I only speak to on the forums. As much as I’d love to actually be friends with kirsy, Chonga and Enekie.

can i populate the houses with little people and make screwed up vampire landlords because i’m absolutely down for that

(no i have god knows how many hours in the sims 2, i would absolutely play a city builder legacy builder fantasy game. i’ve even made kai in the sims 4 where she lives with her girlfriend and her cat and they’re absolutely broke because neither of them will get real jobs.)

Friendos! <3

Also, Bellular has some speculations based on some assets. I don’t think it’ll be faction war in Warcraft. Maybe. Probably.

tbh probably the closest with gentarn out of the regular forum posters that haven’t been banned.

taalva and i often discuss the nuance of gay romance, and i see Zunde often, but they’re both banned for a thousand years from the blizzard forums. “i thought zunde quit voluntarily,” you might ask, to which i answer, yes. and then he got banned years after he stopped posting because i think some weirdo stalked his backlog and reported it all.

We can’t be friends. We haven’t even seen a dead body on the railroad tracks together yet.

Road trip?

I mean, it would work, and the instant the Alliance loses contact or cannot teleport in or out, they immediately assume a war-footing and declare the Peace Treaty over.

I’d like to see such a thing high up the cliffs in Orgrimmar, overlooking the city both as a measure of trust and a position of supremacy, which also keeps it out of the way of most Horde players.

Less a garrison and more an embassy … but with a number of very powerful Alliance NPCs and occasional stay awhile and listen moments between Alliance and Horde Hero NPCs.

I’d also like something similar for Stormwind, but the actual location is a bit more difficult? A dock in the harbour where a Sin’dorei Vessel sits at anchor with a teleportation circle on it, and an ‘honor guard’ of Stormwind soldiers who just happen to have enough artillery trained on the vessel to reduce it to sawdust if so much as one ambassador steps out of line would be suitable, maybe?
