I have over 1000 screenshots of me standing on just about every hard-to get to surface in warcraft. I would do anything to do it all again. It never bothered or hurt or bothered anybody. The game was like this for years…
It was completely victimless. You had to manually do the work in order to climb the hills. And 99% of other players were still completely disinterested in climbing the map boundaries anyhow (even though they knew they could).
I know you might think it a small and insignifcant change. But to me you’ve made world a warcraft a non-open world game. I loved climbing those hills, it allowed you to have a 10x better understanding of the world you were playing in. And discovering how the levels were actually made.
Black desert online you can just run over the mountains in the desert and found all sorts of unfinished textures and other interesting things. Getting outside of the map in an mmorpg is not that big of a deal.
Unfinished areas are 1000x more interesting to explore than the ones we are supposed to see
I know you will not put this back into the game because you are now just a big corporate ROBOT now without feelings. But it would make me very happy if you would. I thought classic was supposed to be all about #nochanges
Listen. Wall climbing Is not easy to do. Its time consuming. if a player is nerdy enough to want to do something like that. Please just let them.
I really see no other reason why you would disable or attempt to fix that

When people talk about wall jumping they usually talk about exploiting the game. Wall jumping was essential for basic questing.
How many times have you been stuck because some very minor bump wont let you climb it? Wall jumping was the answer. It let you get around without having to walk through tons of mobs just to get to the Blizzard approved ramp.

You can still wall jump, it’s just extremely difficult to do now, but you can still do it. There are videos on it which I won’t link because they likely fall under sharing exploits or something like that.
Thats where your wrong. anyone could get under Org/IF/SW or climb up pretty much any building if you spent 5 minutes practicing.

I was devastated when I found out wall jumping would not be in the game.
Like why. It was my favorite part of WoW and now it’s gone forever.

I found a way out of Netherguard keep, to the hills behind the dark portal. Fun times.
There is no dragon in the cave behind AQ - i checked, but the Tauren house is there (removed in cata).
Im still yet to check out CoT and see if you can still fall into it behind the door, a troll village north of SM, Hyjal, mountains above Mara, Org front gate, and swimming up the coast of SoS behind EP to Ghostlands/Isle of Quel’Danas - i never did that in vanilla but im game this time round.

there is still away to wall jump. It’s just slightly different, so test some stuff out

I was in support of your freedom to wall climb until you brought insults into it.
Spell batching was a techbical limitation. Sooo, why did they worked on recreate this ? So 2 wars could charge one another ?

Wall jumping is still in the game but it’s a lot different than it used to be. Some jumps are easier and some wall jumps, specially corner jumps, are much harder to pull off.
