Put Slime Cat in LFR to decrease queue times

A week ago I made a topic here asking when was the best time to queue for LFR, as the queue times were absolutely atrocious and I waited 2+ hours for Castle Nathria LFR.

Best time to queue for LFR?

So I’m trying to queue for Castle Nathria on this character, to probably get gear yes, but more importantly to see the story, which I thought what LFR is supposed to be for. But I’ve been in queue for 2 hours now, which also defeats the point of LFR as a means for players without time to raid to have to sit in a queue for hours. Is there an optimal time to queue for LFR or something? I’m trying to use it for it’s intended purpose but it’s kinda hard to with these queue times.

I came back to WoW from FFXIV because I was really enjoying playing through the story in FFXIV, and I thought maybe I could do the same with Shadowlands in WoW. But I got to the part of the story where you need to do Castle Nathria and I was at a loss at figuring out what happened to Denathrius because the LFR queue times basically made it impossible to do the “story mode” raid option to continue the story in WoW.

But thankfully, the lovely WoW community informed me that when season 4 came out people will be queuing up for the old LFRs to get the rewards for it. Great! I can finally actually play this game then.

And before you reply to say “people will still queue up for old LFRs to get the currency/whatever”, I honestly don’t think it will be as much of an incentive for people that actually do LFR regularly than a mount would have been.

So even if your opinion is that you don’t want those dirty casuals to have a “free mount” or whatever, can you at least sympathize with people who actually just want to play and experience the story in this game? I just want to see the raids, that’s it! I don’t want to open up a Youtube video of someone else doing them, that’s ridiculous. I just want to play the game!

Or fix LFR.

I would have done LFR on a lot more tanks/healer toons if it was fixed. Queueing for a raid, only to be put in with Anduin dead over and over again, even after I stayed to down the other bosses and queue’d again only to still not get Anduin is why I don’t do LFR.
