They did. Was your class hall vendor. Though they were different less flashy on parts. I know the shammy one was blue rather then red and the shoulders I don’t think did the spell effects when you /rare?

Those weren’t recolors. They’re objectively worse looking sets.
I want 1 to 1 recolor versions of the CM sets.
I got the shammy one and the monk one. Really only like the shoulders on the monk one, the spell effects on the shammy one.
Wish I’d gotten more of the other classes but finding groups and ones with a lead that was up to doing them all and actually succeed was hard at the time.
I’d be fine with a recolor. Heck I wish I’d gotten any of the CM WOD weapons… That pole arm is so damn nice.

You may get your recolored CM gear once you loot the love rocket mount.

They should bring back recolors of those too.
The mage class hall set is missing the crystals on the shoulders and belt, missing the color over the eyes, missing the glow on the symbol of the helm. Definitely too many differences to call it a real recolor.
They definitely were.
The entire big argument for not bringing CM sets back is the ridiculous “prestige” or that Blizzard said the words “limited time” but most were like “ask for a recolor”. This is exactly what I’m doing. Give a proper recolor of those sets.

well we’ll see what “timerunning pandamonium” is and what the rewards will be.
wowhead made an article speculating that this event would bring back mop challenge modes and the transmog rewards, holly longdale (? not sure of name) commented on twitter that it will be “even cooler than mop cmodes”.
maybe we’re getting recolors of them or updated versions
The monk set is so ugly. Can we trade it out for a better set if they are going to bring them back?
Recolors I’m ok with. The original color sets should remain exclusive.
I don’t own the Mop or WoD sets, so this is a very unbiased opinion, I think.

But in my defense it’s probably the closest?
The monk class hall set is pretty close too, no plume on the hat and missing a tiny little barrel of booze on one of the shoulders, but closer than most of the others.

Yes, I’d say it’s probably the closest. Warlock was fairly close as well.
The mage one was pathetic. So was the druid one.

i actually prepped a monk to do the gold cms, then i saw the monk set and decided to not bother lol
As the president of the Pro Fomo association, I fully endorse the idea of the unused colors becoming available while keeping the OG colors unobtainable
