Does the roughly 20 second run from the portals to FP really matter that much to you?

They kept the mission table and boat separated from the Great Seal in Zuldazar for all of BFA.

They won’t make any changes like that for convenience.

It’s not how Blizzard does things.

Just be glad that the portals in Oribos go directly to the portal room in Org/SW and not arbitrarily halfway across the city.

From Sinfall - Oribos is ~60 seconds so yes it does actually bother me. Then there’s another 1-2 minute flight to wherever I’m going, it’s just a pointless waste of time. At least I can alt tab and come to forums like I’m doing literally right now on my Flight to Heroes Rest for NW

I port from stormwind to Oribos to travel through another portal to walk to flightpath to fly to another place, yea it gets bothersome

I for one totally enjoy running from the absolute least useful location in Oribos every time I use my 16k anima portal or exit the Maw or take the Org portal or take a Mage portal.
It’s really engaging and feels like a meaningful choice to be as inconvenient as possible.
Bonus points for the portals not being two-way.

Use your Dalaran hearthstone, then from there take the portal to SW/Org. Much shorter distance, plus you can fly.

Because they want you to accidentally fall down into the Maw and do content there accidentally

I wish we could jump into the Maw from either level when I do actually go there.
Makes no sense it only works on one level.

If 20 seconds is that big a deal for you, this probably isn’t the game for you. That’s like casting a hearthstone twice, or even a mage teleport. I’ve upgraded the transportation network in my sanctum so I have the portal to Oribos. I also use the Dalaran Hearthstone since that also eliminates time.
