Oh yeah man I so totally want to be slightly larger while in palace and Naz. Maybe if I was a guy I would be obsessed about being larger but Iām not.
Letās not pretend all the mana pearl gear offers is the silly stuff. There is quite a few pieces that offer damage and healing perks.
It takes you that long to get gold? What are you selling, thread?
I have literally never gotten a single one. The only one that did damage also increased my aoe threat and no way I want that just to get blamed for pulling off the tank.
If Blizzard were to place Pathfinder on the shop once a month had gone by after the early grinders were able to get it - sure. But then all fel would break loose as they would be accused of all sorts of things, so I donāt see the point.
If they make it available at the same time - all fel would break loose because anyone to remain competitive would be āforcedā to purchase it. If you think Blizzard looks bad in some lights nowā¦ I mean, Iād actually have to give serious consideration of packing up my guild and leaving.
So, again: No. There is no way to place Pathfinder on the shop w/out Blizzard taking a huge hit over it.

Itemās like the Shirakes Cinch is pretty nice though itās just straight added damage.
But people CHOOSE if they want to be competitive or not. No one is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to buy it.
If the ādo you not have phonesā debacle, or the firing of a butt ton of employees wasnāt enough to break your spirit, I doubt some irrelevant stuff on a shop will be the end.
If by competition you mean for resources, then sure. I could see that potentially being a problem. However, one guy picking a flower faster than another guy has very few drawbacks I can think of other than AH competition that would be evened out the moment person B earned their flying.
Getting to dailies may be a little less taxing, but thereās nothing competitive about that- theyāre mostly solo quests and they donāt disappear off the map if someone else gets to them first.
Less PvP- well letās be real here. PvPās in a sorry state already anyway that flying isnāt going to have any relevant impact on when warmode canāt balance factions worth a mothball.

Being able to buy Raid ilvl gear on the shop because the grind of raiding was to much?
Then it takes a little longer. The goal is easily achievable with play. It is faster if you can devote time to it. The game is based around this. Putting something on the store so you donāt have to put any effort into the game. You donāt like this, go play a FTP game buy your experience there.

The problem isnāt the difficulty. The problem is that it is tedious.
I can get tedious for free. I donāt need to subscribe to anything to be bored.
/shrug, my point is that you argue that āit only took someone x amount of time because they had x amount of timeā when your friend isnāt every player in the game. Moreover, different people want different things out of their playtime. Some people would rather spend that time grinding doing other things.
I could care less either way what Blizzard does at the end of the day, but I do enjoy listening to the cacophony of angry voices that take personal offense to the idea that someone might want to play the game differently. xD
Edit: Also, if itās so easy to attain, then adding it to the cash shop shouldnāt be a problem! Does paying 25-50 bucks for something you can do in 2 days make that big of a difference?
Best in slot gloves, bracer, boots, and belt for me are benthic gear right nowā¦none of those improve my size.
sounds like you need to research a little on what gear you should be using to be competitive, if that is your desireā¦but to make BiS gear buyable with tokens you get from IRL money will be the death of this game.
No donāt beg the devs to return flight for cash my gosh have some dignity.

Sorry I have a life, no time for that.
I heard part 2 takes only a week to get or less, tomorrow ill see if thats true! But honestly as much as id rather pay for flying with gold, so far this expansion and previous ones I never had issues achieving it. Just pace yourself and go at your own speed. If you really want it then youād have it by now.
I think youāve covered it well in your post: nothing that Iāve mentioned matters to you, so it doesnāt matter.
