One problem is sometimes they do ‘hotfixes’ but never list them or are unclear about what’s a bug or what’s intended.

I mean it wouldn’t be a bad idea for them to post them on the launcher when your select WoW as a featured article.
But most people will still ignore it, even if it’s in game.
The patch notes are linked on the launcher, left side under the logo.
I do agree they could be bigger and easier to notice.

I’m so used to having to search for wow news online and using outside sources (like wowhead) for 20 years that I would probably be genuinely confused if they started trying to give it to me directly.
I mean I’d take it, but it’d still be odd at first.

At this point, they definitely have the resources to put an in-game text box with patch notes lol.
The fact we don’t see it in-game is just tradition, at this point.
I guess they assume everyone will go to WoWhead or whatever anyway.
Yeah undocumented hotfixes are stupid. Just list them, don’t be lazy.
