Your argument is that because it is allowed it is right. My argument is that it should not have a negative impact on player leveling. If it does, the MB’er should be banned. period.
yes. just like if I tell you not to do X in my home. YOu dont have to think its right. My house, my rules. you can leave if you dont like them.
Same exact thing here.
god the entitlement.
PROVE that its a systemic problem guy. Till you do its all just chicken feed.
when you purchase blizzard, then you can make that call. Till then…
The only time I’ve ever seen a multiboxer take up mobs that I needed for a quest was one time I was leveling in Nagrand going through WoD stuff. You know what I did? Went to a different zone. It’s really not that big a deal. They are just as entitled to those mobs as anyone else is.
Count again, just two. If another popped up, I can’t claim ownership.
Respectfully I disagree with your argument. It is a matter of scale and opportunity. If 1 person is farming in an area, I can still do my quests. If there is a MB’er with 5 characters, I can’t because they remove the nodes before I can get to them. This last one is the most insidious, the reason you have 5 characters in a group is because that will nearly always complete deplete the node fully preventing someone from mining/herbing from it again.
Even when I do see a multiboxer, which is fairly rare, they’re not usually an actual problem for me. I think I can count on one hand in the last ~14 years when I’ve had to full stop what I was doing.
well…you claim. But having seen you post on at least two alts here kinda ruins any credibility. Who knows what might have happened if you hadnt been called out on it.
Once you lose my trust, its over. There is no regaining it.
well, we know that aint happening we have to go with the evidence we can see.
HOw many players?
10,000?
100,000?
1,000,000?
lets go with 100,000 just to keep it better for you.
100,000 players and maybe 100 in here whining about boxing, and many of those have proven to be the same person posting on alts.
But I’ll grant you the 100.
So what is that? 0.1%
unless you can get a LOT more than 1 tenth of one percent tossing a fit about it in here, I doubt anything is going to change.
That’s cool , and I’ll note in my calendar that you don’t wanna be my friend. Please excuse me while I crawl under my desk and cry because the multi-boxing apologist don’t wanna hol’my hand no more.
If some level of interruption is bad, then that means all interruption is bad. You are trying to create a special rule that only applies to multiboxers as if they’re the only ones capable of doing these “bad” things.
It takes 10 taps to deplete a node.
Also? You can only have eight WoW accounts on a single battle net license. So that means multiboxers with nine or more WoW accounts have had to set up multiple battle net accounts, which means a lot more work is involved since there’s no account-shared stuff between those battle net accounts.
Now tell us which quests you were working on. No one making this complaint has ever come up with a quest so we could check on it.
I actually expected to see multiboxers farming in Outland after that complaint thread last week where someone was complaining they could get no quests done. I saw none. The mats are not in demand at all. The only multiboxers I saw were leveling up teams and minding their own business.
So you can falsely report everybody you want, and nothing will ever come of it.
