If you are looking at the gates from the inside of Orgrimmar, there was an NPC to the right with a forge/anvil. I don’t recall if that was after/during BC though.

I will never, ever play a version of wow again with nu-org.

Stop trying to change the game and try to adapt instead. I suggest you go to TB for everything related to AH, Bank and crafting.
